QC Piping

• Location: East Java Work Area (JTB)

Scope and Work Details

• Pre-Fabrication: Verification of materials and preparation of documents.
• Fabrication / Construction: Supervision of cutting, fit-up, and welding processes.
• Inspection and Testing: Conducting visual inspections and coordinating laboratory / NDT testing.
• Documentation: Preparation of Manufacturer Record Book (MRB) or Data Report.
• Inspecting incoming pipe materials, fittings, and flanges to ensure compliance with Mill Certificate and project specifications.
• Ensuring material codes (Heat Number) are recorded and traceable.

Required Competencies

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related Engineering fields. Minimum GPA 3.00.
• Experience in piping fabrication projects or refinery / platform construction for at least 2-5 years.
• Possess CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI (Welding Inspector Level II) certification.
• Able to read P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and Isometric Drawing.
• Understand standard codes such as ASME B31.3 (Process Piping), ASME B31.1 (Power Piping), and ASME Section IX (Welding Qualifications).
• Fluent in welding procedures (WPS / PQR).
