Department Head Insurance

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the overall insurance and bancassurance functions within the bank.
  • Develop strategies for collaboration with partner insurance companies to support business growth and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure the implementation of insurance products complies with OJK regulations, internal bank policies, and good governance principles.
  • Conduct evaluation, accreditation, and monitoring of partner insurance companies’ performance based on financial aspects, service quality, claims, and risk exposure.
  • Supervise end-to-end operational processes of banking insurance coverage, including credit insurance, asset insurance, and customer protection.
  • Perform regular risk and performance analysis of insurance companies as the basis for business cooperation recommendations.
  • Coordinate with business units, legal, compliance, risk management, audit, and external parties regarding the implementation of insurance programs.
  • Ensure administration, policy documentation, and reporting are accurate and timely.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements, controls, and risk management related to insurance activities in the bank.
  • Lead team development and ensure the creation of a professional and compliance-oriented work culture.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in banking, insurance, or bancassurance, with managerial experience as a key advantage.
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking business processes and insurance products.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, credit insurance, and banking insurance operations.
  • Familiarity with OJK regulations related to banking, insurance, bancassurance, and compliance functions.
  • Understanding of accreditation, evaluation, and monitoring mechanisms for partner insurance companies.
  • Ability to analyze risk, financial performance, and conduct legal reviews of insurance companies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work across functions and manage coordination with external partners and regulators.

Economist Staff

  • Collect, organize, and validate economic data from various reliable sources.
  • Document daily, weekly, and monthly economic reports systematically.
  • Manage and update the economic database regularly.
  • File and archive economic documents neatly and in a structured manner.
  • Provide administrative support for the operational needs of the economist team.
  • Help ensure the availability of data and reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications
