Job Description
- Lead the management of framework, policies, and governance of Bank’s Model Risk Management
- Ensure independence and effectiveness of model development, validation, and implementation processes
- Develop and review risk models, including impairment / CKPN, scorecard, and other risk models
- Conduct validation, evaluation, monitoring, and backtesting of models according to Bank’s model inventory
- Oversee implementation of model inventory and materiality classification of models
- Provide advisory to model owners regarding methodology, assumptions, and model implementation
- Coordinate with related units in end-to-end risk model management
- Conduct research and evaluation of new methodologies, including Machine Learning and AI
- Ensure quality, integrity, and utilization of data in all model development processes
- Build awareness and governance culture related to model risk across the organization
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field
- At least 8 years of experience in Model Development, Model Validation, or Risk Analytics in banking / financial services industry
- Understanding of IFRS 9 / PSAK 71, impairment / CKPN, scorecard, and model governance
- Proficient in SQL, R, Python, or other analytics tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in leading teams and cross-functional projects is an advantage
