Job Roles
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and brownfield construction activities across all project phases from engineering and fabrication to installation and commissioning ensuring safe execution, on-time and within-budget delivery, and full compliance with company and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage engineering and construction schedules and budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization and alignment with production targets.
- Monitor and control engineering studies, design changes, and construction execution to ensure compliance with standards, contract requirements, and project objectives.
- Lead coordination with contractors, partners, and stakeholders from site survey through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Evaluate project changes, technical proposals, and performance outcomes, while driving process optimization and supporting team development through coaching and performance management.
Job Description
To coordinate and manage all engineering and brownfield construction activities across all disciplines, including civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, process and process safety, mechanical, and pipeline. This covers the full execution phase from engineering through construction and installation up to commissioning, including fabrication, rigging, scaffolding, insulation, and civil works. All activities are to be executed safely, effectively, and in accordance with approved planning, ensuring completion within schedule and budget, proper handover, and full compliance with HCML requirements and safety standards.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related Engineering disciplines
- Over 12 years of experience in Engineering and Construction within the Oil and Gas industry, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Minimum 5 years in a structural / lead role, managing or supervising teams.
- Demonstrated experience in process engineering activities (e.g., process design, optimization, safety reviews, troubleshooting).
- Proven involvement in piping and pipeline projects (onshore / offshore), including design, routing, stress analysis, integrity, or construction execution.
- Hands-on experience in flexible riser systems (design, installation, or integrity management).
- Experience in offshore structural engineering projects, including design review, analysis, or construction supervision.
- Exposure to load-out, transportation, and offshore installation activities.
- Experience in civil / infrastructure design or construction delivery within oil and gas projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for engineering documentation and reporting.
