Job Description

To conduct the economic simulation and prepare relevant analysis for all fields managed by the Company in order to provide relevant insights and recommendations for Management with the lens of optimum investment and profitability level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver economic simulations and commercial analysis to support investment decisions and profitability
  • Evaluate gas pricing structures and contract terms to assess value, risk, and market sensitivity
  • Analyze market and pricing data to support gas marketing strategies and negotiations
  • Prepare economic models and commercial documentation using petroleum economic tools (e.g., Merak PEEP, Que$tor)

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering or any other relevant majors.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the end-to-end gas marketing negotiation process, including market assessment, buyer engagement, proposal development, and contract finalization.
  • Able to explain key pricing mechanisms in gas sales contracts, including indexation, escalation, formulas, and sensitivity to market price fluctuations.
  • Capable of supporting economic evaluation of contract terms and commercial scenarios to assess value, risks, and profitability.
  • Able to compile, analyze, and interpret market and pricing data to support pricing strategy and negotiation decisions.
  • Supports the preparation of technical and commercial documentation related to gas marketing contracts, including term sheets, proposals, and internal approval papers.
  • Assists in conducting economic analysis on contract variations and related commercial parameters to ensure optimized commercial outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with petroleum economic evaluation tools (e.g., Merak PEEP, Que$tor).
