Senior Marine Officer
Overseeing the safe and efficient mooring, connection, cargo offloading, and unmooring of shuttle or offtake tankers tandem with the FSO. Including managing and ensuring all marine operation permits remain valid and compliant. This role requires advanced ship-handling expertise, in-depth knowledge of dynamic positioning (DP) systems, and a thorough understanding of all related marine operations, while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian regulations and international safety standards.Responsibilities
- Coordinates all the required duties for lifting activities to include but not limited to the activities prior to the arrival, inspects and certifies conditions of tanker, during the mooring / unmooring, loading of crude oil, and after the lifting process.
- Coordinates schedules, permits, licenses, and documentation for cargo transfers, vessels, and marine equipment.
- Serve as the Person in Overall Advisory Control (POAC), providing overall authority and operational oversight for all cargo offloading activities involving shuttle tankers.
- Provide expert guidance and oversee the approach, positioning, and secure connection of the offtake tanker for tandem offloading arrangements.
- Perform immediate and decisive control during any emergency situations arising in offloading operations, such as severe weather, hose failure, or tanker drive-off / drift-off scenarios. Initiate and execute emergency disconnect procedures (EDS) when required to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment.
- Conduct pre-operation briefings with the FSO crew and the shuttle tanker's crew, covering all procedures, emergency plans, and communication protocols.
- Serve as the primary marine liaison between the FSO and the approaching / offtake tanker, as well as with FSO Radio Operator and traffic control (VTS - Vessel Traffic Service) if applicable
- Continuously monitor and interpret weather forecasts and sea state conditions. Advise the OIM on the operational window and initiate delays or shutdowns if limits are exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, decrees, and regulations issued by Indonesian authorities, including but not limited to:
- Dirjen Hubla (Directorate General of Sea Transportation): All maritime and shipping regulations.
- SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities): Specific requirements for crude oil lifting operations.
- Indonesian Port Authority and Harbourmaster: Requirements for the specific offshore field location.
- Ensure all marine operations logs, offloading records, tanker paperwork (including validity of certifications and insurance), and pre- / post-operation checklists are accurately completed and filed.
- Ensure the offtake tanker has all necessary clearances and permits to operate in Indonesian waters.
- Responsible for managing and ensuring all marine operation permits remain valid and compliant
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency for Deck Officer Class I and Maritime Pilot Class I
- Minimum 5 years experience as Mooring Master
- Valid STCW Master Mariner Certificate
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate
- Local Indonesian Pilotage License / Certification may be required or highly advantageous
- Successful completion of mooring / un-mooring operations
- A minimum of 5-10 years of sea-going experience as a Master on Aframax oil tanker is highly desirable.
- Extensive and proven experience as a Mooring Master on an FSO or an Aframax / Larger tanker is essential.
- Deep understanding of vessel hydrodynamics, interaction, and forces involved in close-quarters manouverings.
- Ability to command respect, lead multi-national teams, and make critical decisions under extreme pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills to quickly assess changing situations and implement solutions
Senior Logistic Officer - as a Third Party
Perform to execute, monitor and coordinate the Materials Management and Logistics in the most effective, cost-efficient manner and in compliance with Host authority and PETRONAS established policies, procedures and guidelines to meet Country business requirements.Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Execute and formulate the strategies and implementation of Materials Management and Logistics activities through resource optimization, optimum work program and budget, adoption of best practices and prudent risk management to support country business objective and host government expectations.
- Implement the Materials management activities from material cataloging, Materials requirement planning, Materials utilization and optimization, by developing contracting approach (i.e. Price Agreement, Service Contract, Vendor Stocking Arrangement) until investment recovery to support country business objective and host government expectations.
- Conduct the integrated Supply Base operations activities with high standard of HSSE by conducting risk assessments, reviewing Job Safety Analysis, PTW authorization to minimize HSE risks in safeguard Country Business interests in the most effective, efficient manner and control utilization of storage space, maximizing investment recovery, minimizing holding cost through timely deployment of reusable surplus and disposal to ensure effective cost control, expenditures and optimization usage of available space are within the planned Work Program Budget (WPB) to support exploration, drilling, development and production operations.
- Conduct the utilization of fit for purpose technology, maximizing implementation of digital solution and adoption of relevant organizational framework tool within Materials management (“MM”) through assessment, evaluation and testing of available technology and tools in order to provide excellent MM solutions to meet business requirements.
- Implement strategic Initiatives for Material Management by identifying relevant business process to be enhanced to improve current work processes through risk evaluation and information sharing on lesson learnt and experience with Material Management team for achieving total business solution.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Structural / Civil or Material Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years in Oil and Gas industry.
- Certified PTK-007 is an advantage
- Conversant in various aspects of upstream construction activities
Petroleum Arrangement Officer
Support and execute commercial and petroleum arrangement activities for Indonesia Operations through coordination, analysis, and implementation of commercial strategies, agreements, and business initiatives to ensure effective delivery of business targets aligned with overall Upstream business strategies, while maintaining good working relationships with partners and host government authorities.Job Responsibility and Accountability
- BUSINESS STRATEGY SUPPORT
- Support the development and implementation of integrated commercial strategies and initiatives for PC INO by conducting commercial assessments, analyzing business impacts, supporting opportunity screening, and providing inputs aligned with corporate strategy and portfolio objectives to support business growth and value creation.
- COMMERCIAL ADVISORY and BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
- Support management and internal stakeholders by providing commercial analysis, business insights, and recommendations related to upstream commercial matters, including identifying improvement opportunities, supporting performance optimization initiatives, and ensuring compliance with PSC requirements and commercial governance.
- PSC MANAGEMENT and COMMERCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
- Support the management of PSC extension activities, commercial arrangements, and negotiations through coordination of technical, economic, and financial evaluations, preparation of commercial assessments, and monitoring compliance with applicable policies and procedures to support effective commercial decision-making.
- MARKETING and MONETIZATION SUPPORT
- Support market intelligence activities, monetization initiatives, and commercial evaluations by monitoring market trends, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory developments to identify potential value creation opportunities aligned with operational and business objectives.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Maintain good working relationships with partners, host government agencies, and relevant stakeholders through effective coordination, communication, and support in addressing business and commercial matters related to PC INO operations in Indonesia.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in commercial, petroleum arrangement, business development, PSC management, or upstream commercial activities within E&P organizations or the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in PSC arrangements, commercial evaluations, petroleum economics, commercial negotiations, and upstream business processes.
- Good knowledge of host government regulations, commercial governance, and stakeholder engagement related to upstream oil and gas operations in Indonesia.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with partners, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Independent, proactive, and capable of handling multiple assignments in a dynamic working environment with tight timelines.

Business Development Officer
Analyse and assess the technical, commercial and financial performance of Operated By Others (OBO) assets to evaluate reserves monetisation strategies, oil and gas field development plans, and the sustainability of operational and financial performance.Identify value creation opportunities and recommend practical actions to maximise asset value, support business growth and deliver value creation targets in line with the Company’s Corporate Agenda.
Job Responsibility and Accountability
- JOINT VENTURE MANAGEMENT
- Support the effective execution of petroleum operations and work programmes across Joint Venture (OBO) blocks by applying the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA), Accounting Procedure, Host Government regulations and PETRONAS’ LOA to ensure proper operational oversight and compliance. Participate actively in formal and informal engagements with JV Partners, contributing to discussions and decision-making to maximise the value and performance of the respective Blocks while safeguarding PETRONAS’ commercial and strategic interests.
- FIELD DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
- Consolidate and integrate technical, commercial and subsurface inputs for oil and gas discoveries, including greenfield and brownfield developments, to support the preparation of a complete and robust Field Development Plan (FDP) for endorsement by the Project Gate Review Committee. Identify and manage key development risks, assess the application of fit-for-purpose and cost-effective technologies, and evaluate project viability to support timely resource exploitation and the successful delivery of commercially feasible field developments.
- RESERVES MONETIZATION
- Coordinate, analyse and forecast the technical and commercial performance of Joint Venture (OBO) blocks, covering production and production enhancement, facilities improvement, drilling and workover activities, as well as key economic indicators including Net Present Value, Profit Before Tax and Cash Flow. Continuously track actual performance against CPB and WPB commitments, identify emerging gaps and opportunities, and recommend timely actions and mitigation measures to sustain asset performance and ensure delivery of commitments to the Host Government and JV Partners.
- COMMERCIAL ARRANGEMENT
- Support the assessment and preparation of negotiations for new, revised or amended commercial agreements and arrangements for oil and gas developments. Review and identify critical commercial terms, benchmark against relevant agreements, and conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate options and support the development of commercially attractive terms. Contribute to negotiations and commercial discussions to strengthen PETRONAS’ position and safeguard its interests in the Block.
- PSC PERFORMANCE and ANALYSIS
- Analyse the operational, financial and commercial performance of OBO assets against approved plans and Best-in-Class benchmarks, identifying performance gaps, improvement opportunities and potential risks. Evaluate and recommend alternative technical and commercial solutions, while leveraging lessons learned and best practices from other PETRONAS assets to improve asset performance and support the achievement of production, growth and revenue targets.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in commercial, petroleum arrangements, business development, PSC management or upstream commercial activities within an E&P organisation or the oil and gas industry.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of the upstream commercial landscape, including PSC arrangements, commercial evaluations, petroleum economics, commercial negotiations and key upstream business processes.
- Good understanding of Indonesia’s upstream regulatory and commercial environment, including Host Government requirements, commercial governance and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex technical and commercial matters into clear recommendations and build effective relationships with JV Partners, government authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver quality outputs within tight timelines and a fast-moving business environment.

Senior Production Technologist - as a Third Party
Responsible to carry out a reservoir engineering technical evaluation through Life-of-Field (LOF) reservoir engineering evaluation and services in a conceptual and full Field Development Plan (FDP), Full Field review (FFR), reservoir management, reserves addition, Annual Review of Petroleum Resources (ARPR), and subsurface related activities in order to monetize, achieve optimum hydrocarbon production and reserves exploitation, as well as to maximize value return and sustainable business growth in line with the company’s current and future business requirement in field appraisals, development, and production.Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Provide technical leadership in area of expertise to drive value creation and project success by developing and implementing technology strategies, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading best practice adoption and lessons learned.
- Deliver expert consultancy and solutions to resolve technical challenges and enhance asset performance by leveraging advanced technologies through diagnostic support, audits, risk assessments, and problem-solving initiatives.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree level in Petroleum or related science subjects with minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Strong influencing skills based on good technical basis and judgement is critical to ensure effectiveness in providing production technology inputs in multi-disciplinary team.
- Good team players with high professionalism and integrity on the sub-surface technical evaluation / proposal is critical to ensure high quality, effective and timely decision making by the management
Mechanical Technician - as a Third Party
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, commissioning, and repair of static and rotating mechanical equipment to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of the Company’s offshore process facilities, in accordance with the highest technical and HSE standards.Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on static and rotating mechanical equipment in accordance with approved procedures and OEM recommendations.
- Carry out troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and minor to intermediate repairs on rotating equipment such as gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and associated auxiliaries.
- Perform maintenance and inspection activities on static equipment including vessels, piping, valves, pressure relief devices, and packages.
- Support operation and maintenance of Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) units, including routine inspections, minor maintenance, and coordination with OEM / vendor representatives as required.
- Support maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU) equipment and associated mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for mechanical maintenance activities in compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures; review subcontractors’ JSA submissions and provide technical and safety guidance.
- Provide mechanical support during offshore shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Prepare tools, materials, spare parts, and detailed task lists for routine maintenance and shutdown execution.
- Participate as required in offshore emergency response and recovery activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history in CMMS.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and continuous HSE improvement initiatives.
- Manage and monitor mechanical spare parts and consumables usage in accordance with maintenance planning requirements.
- Support inspection and maintenance of life saving appliances (LSA) and firefighting equipment, ensuring statutory inspections and records are up to date.
- Work closely with offshore operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, and vendors to execute work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Act as a senior field reference for mechanical maintenance practices and troubleshooting support.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of hands on experience as a Mechanical Technician in offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
- Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil and gas operations.
- Proven experience in maintenance of rotating equipment (GTG, compressors, pumps, fin fan coolers) and static equipment (vessels, piping, valves).
- Experience supporting or working alongside OEMs for Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) maintenance activities.
- Working knowledge or experience in maintenance of VRU systems is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience using CMMS (SAP preferred) for maintenance execution and reporting.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety focused approach.
- Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.
Certification and Competency Advantages (Highly Preferred)
- OEM or vendor training related to gas turbine, compressor, or rotating equipment maintenance (Solar GTG exposure preferred).
- Rigging and lifting, mechanical fitting, or pressure equipment maintenance training.
- Experience supporting statutory inspection or third party inspection activities.
