Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited (HCML) is a key player in Indonesia’s upstream oil and gas industry. Operating under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Indonesian government, HCML is a joint venture between Husky Oil Madura Partnership (40%), China National Offshore Oil Corporation Southeast Asia Limited (40%), and SMS Development Ltd. (20%). The company’s mission is to responsibly explore and produce hydrocarbons in the Madura Strait, contributing to national energy security and regional development.
HCML’s origins date back to 1982, with the formation of Husky Oil Madura Limited. In 2011, following a strategic partnership with CNOOC, the company was restructured and rebranded as HCML. Since then, it has focused on developing offshore gas fields, with the BD Field being its flagship project. Located approximately 65 kilometers east of Surabaya and 16 kilometers south of Madura Island, the BD Field contains significant reserves of natural gas and condensate. Its development has been instrumental in supplying clean energy to East Java and beyond.
In addition to the BD Field, HCML has successfully developed the MDA and MBH fields. These projects involved complex offshore engineering, including the installation of platforms and subsea pipelines. The execution of these developments was marked by a strong safety record, with millions of work hours completed without incidents-highlighting HCML’s commitment to operational excellence and worker safety.

HRIS Intern (Human Resource and General Affairs)

About The Role

This internship is open to fresh graduates who are eager to apply their technical and analytical skills in HR & General Affairs. Our aim is to create an experience that allows you to learn without pressure, gain practical skills, build real world experience, develop a greater understanding of our industry and form valuable connections. The role will focus on developing HR applications with Microsoft Power Apps, automating processes with Power Automate, and creating dashboards in Power BI, while collaborating with HR and IT teams to deliver digital solutions that enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and employee experience.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent
• Strong interest in HR technology, digital transformation, and people operations.
• Knowledge of database management systems (basic SQL, Access, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint) is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C++, Java, Python, Javascript, etc.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia and English).
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist HR and IT teams in developing and enhancing HR applications (automation workflows, dashboards, forms, and reports).
• Build and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint).
• Support data analysis and visualization for HR projects and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR team members to gather requirements and propose tech-based solutions.
• Provide general support to HR and GA daily operations and digital initiatives.
