Job Description

Purpose:

• To coordinate well engineering activities, completion / workover - well testing and wireline / rigless.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Overall technical integrity of D&C design, compliance with well project objectives.
• Well design and operational sequence optimization.
• To prepare engineering programs covering whole well activities (drilling, completion, workover, well testing and wireline / rigless). Support Well Operations manager to prepare budget.
• Liaise with Exploration and Technical Departments in order to define suitable well design, operational sequence and cost reduction. Carrying out proper evaluations, studies and reports on any aspects of well operations with recommendations of new techniques required.
• Preparing accurate cost breakdown estimates for wells to be drilled and / or workover. Tracking and benchmarking drilling performance and cost. Coordinating the preparation of post well reports. Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tenders.
• Ensuring that activities carried out by Contractors meet contractual terms, budget costs and are conducted in accordance with good engineering practices. Assisting rigsite operations for specific jobs.
• Coordinating the activity of drilling & completion engineers and drilling / completion fluids engineer while preparing the relevant engineering programs. Well operations close follow up and make recommendations when engineering problem is experienced. Ensuring the application of new technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Professional Qualification: Minimum 10 years of working experiences in Oil & Gas industry, especially in Drilling & Completion area

Training and Courses:

• IWCF Level 4 or IADC WellSharp for Supervisors
• Drilling & Completion Engineering courses
• BOSIET OPITO and / or Sea Survival
• Basic Oil & Gas industry knowledge

Job Description

Purpose:

• To supervise drilling and completion execution assuring that operations conform to plans and are being carried out safely, efficiently, and economically, managing power, rigs, material supplies and stocks, resolving difficulties which could otherwise delay drilling progress.

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Effective, efficient, and safe drilling and completion operations in accordance with drilling program and personnel, equipment, and material safety at rigsite operations.
• Ensuring Contractor personnel, services and material are available at rigsite when required and in due time so to avoid any delay in operations.
• Coordinating drilling and completion activities in accordance with program, Company procedures and best practices.
• Reporting to Drilling Superintendent on regular basis on the progress of the operations and agree on any corrective action if necessary.
• Monitoring the consumption and stock of materials available at rigsite, and request personnel – material services in due time in order to avoid any delay in the operations.
• Reporting during drilling execution any technical variation from approved scope, proposing the appropriate changes, if necessary.
• Representing Company at rigsite in all matters.
• Ensuring that drilling and completion operations are carried out in safety, with good oilfield practices and in accordance with program and all the relevant Company standards and HSE procedures.
• Coordinating Company Emergency Response activities at rigsite.
• Responsible for the daily cost reporting.
• Ensuring full and detailed reporting of all incidents / accidents / injuries / near misses / lost time to ensure that root causes, cost implications and learning points are fully captured and disseminated.

Purpose:

• To develop well design optimizing the investment and applying the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety and environmental protection. To draft drilling plan and support its execution providing engineering advice and updating well design and execution plans

• Providing digital data useful to follow up well operations and produce well profile printouts and overpressure study. To critically study these data, detect anomalies and propose corrective actions if needed.
• Supporting HSES Department for preparation of environmental study and obtaining Authorization from Government Authority.
• Liaise with SKK Migas, GOI, JV Partners during well operation preparation, execution and post activity.
