Adaro Logistics Jobs: Radio Operator Staff

Adaro Logistics LogoPT Adaro Logistics is a key subsidiary within the Adaro Energy Group, tasked with managing and optimizing the logistics operations that support the group’s vertically integrated coal supply chain. Its establishment reflects Adaro’s strategic commitment to ensuring operational excellence and supply reliability across its business segments. By overseeing the movement of coal from pit to port and ultimately to customers, PT Adaro Logistics plays a central role in maintaining the efficiency and consistency of Adaro’s energy delivery system.
The company’s operations span a wide array of logistics services, including coal barging, ship loading, fuel transport and management, channel dredging, terminal and stockpile management, stevedoring, and dockyard operations. These services are designed to ensure that coal and other bulk materials are transported safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer specifications. PT Adaro Logistics operates through several specialized subsidiaries, each contributing to the overall logistics framework. For instance, PT Maritim Barito Perkasa handles coal marine transportation, ensuring timely shipments from loading ports to destination ports. PT Puradika Bongkar Muat Makmur manages unloading and loading activities, supporting the supply chain system with precision and reliability.
In 2021, PT Adaro Logistics expanded its scope by initiating its own fuel handling and logistics operations. This move was marked by the acquisition of four fuel tanks with a total capacity of 4,200 kiloliters, strategically placed at KM 0 of Kelanis port. Additionally, three more fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 4,400 kiloliters were installed at KM 73 along Adaro Indonesia’s hauling road. These facilities enable PT Adaro Logistics to provide fuel services to other Adaro Group companies, enhancing internal logistics capabilities and reducing dependency on external providers.
The logistics segment is divided into three main operational categories: dry and liquid bulk marine transportation, terminal operations, and shipyard services. The dry and liquid bulk marine transportation segment focuses on the movement of coal and fuel via river and sea routes. This includes the use of tugboats and barges, as well as transshipment operations that facilitate the transfer of cargo from smaller vessels to larger ocean-going ships. Terminal operations encompass the management of multipurpose terminals and stockpiles, ensuring that cargo is stored and handled efficiently before being dispatched. Shipyard services involve the maintenance and repair of vessels, which is critical for sustaining the fleet’s operational readiness and safety standards.
PT Adaro Logistics also plays a vital role in environmental management through its dredging and channel maintenance activities. These efforts help maintain navigable waterways, reduce the risk of flooding, and support sustainable logistics operations. By investing in infrastructure and technology, the company aims to minimize its environmental footprint while maximizing logistical efficiency.
The company’s strategic location in South Kalimantan, particularly around the Taboneo Floating Terminal in Banjarmasin, allows it to serve as a hub for coal shipments across Indonesia and beyond. This location is integral to Adaro’s supply chain, enabling seamless coordination between mining operations and export activities. PT Adaro Logistics leverages its geographic advantage to streamline operations and reduce turnaround times, which is essential for meeting international demand and maintaining competitiveness in the global energy market.
With a workforce committed to operational excellence and safety, PT Adaro Logistics continues to evolve in response to industry demands and technological advancements. Its integrated approach to logistics not only supports Adaro Energy’s core business but also positions the company as a leading logistics provider in Indonesia’s energy sector. Through continuous improvement and strategic investments, PT Adaro Logistics remains focused on delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable logistics solutions that drive the success of the Adaro Group.
