Operating under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Indonesian government, HCML is a joint venture between Husky Oil Madura Partnership (40%), China National Offshore Oil Corporation Southeast Asia Limited (40%), and SMS Development Ltd. (20%). The company’s mission is to responsibly explore and produce hydrocarbons in the Madura Strait, contributing to national energy security and regional development.HCML’s origins date back to 1982, with the formation of Husky Oil Madura Limited. In 2011, following a strategic partnership with CNOOC, the company was restructured and rebranded as HCML. Since then, it has focused on developing offshore gas fields, with the BD Field being its flagship project. Located approximately 65 kilometers east of Surabaya and 16 kilometers south of Madura Island, the BD Field contains significant reserves of natural gas and condensate. Its development has been instrumental in supplying clean energy to East Java and beyond.

Junior Accountant General Accounting
- Working Location: Jakarta Office (May require to travel around sites)
- Employment Status: Permanent
Job Description
- To implement accurate and relevant recording of general accounting and all fixed assets in compliance to the company policy for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- Have minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting and Finance roles
- Understand and able to assist in the general accounting process, such performing bookkeeping, transaction analysis and Journal entries
- Understand the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) frameworks and related financial processes is preferable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using SAP for financial operations and reporting is preferable
- Possess strong skills in problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking, and data literacy, with high attention to detail
- Able to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
