Cook Helper

  • Placement: Manggarai, South Jakarta

Main Qualifications

  • Male
  • Minimum education of High School (SMA) / Vocational School (SMK) (preferably majoring in Culinary Arts / Tata Boga)
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience as Cook Helper / Kitchen Assistant in the food industry (restaurant, café, catering, etc.)
  • Understand the basics of food preparation (cutting, peeling, cleaning ingredients)
  • Able to work quickly, accurately, and under pressure (especially during peak hours)
  • Have a good understanding of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation (HACCP / Hygiene and Sanitation)
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Willing to work shifts, including weekends or national holidays

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Chef / Cook in preparing cooking ingredients (including washing, peeling, cutting, measuring, etc.)
  • Ensure all cooking ingredients are available according to daily needs (mise en place)
  • Assist in simple cooking processes according to instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the entire kitchen area, cooking equipment, and dining utensils
  • Wash, dry, and rearrange cooking and dining equipment
  • Receive, inspect, and store food stock properly
  • Comply with all company recipe standards and operational procedures (SOP)
