In late 2023, Mubadala Energy announced a major gas discovery at the Layaran-1 exploration well in the South Andaman block. This deepwater well was drilled to a total depth of over 4,200 meters in water depths exceeding 1,200 meters. The well encountered a substantial gas column of more than 230 meters in high-quality Oligocene sandstone reservoirs. Preliminary estimates suggest the presence of over 6 trillion cubic feet of gas-in-place, making it one of the most significant discoveries in Indonesia in recent years. This success not only validates Mubadala Energy’s technical capabilities in deepwater exploration but also highlights the potential of the North Sumatra basin as a future gas hub.
Beyond exploration, Mubadala Energy is also involved in the Sebuku Block in the Makassar Strait, where it has been active for several years. This block contributes to the company’s production profile and complements its exploration activities in the Andaman Sea. The company’s role as a Cooperation Contract Contractor under Indonesia’s upstream regulatory framework reflects its collaborative approach with the government and its alignment with national energy development goals. Mubadala Energy Fresh Graduate Program is an internship program with excellent ways to gain exposure and working experience in an international Oil and Gas Company, as well as an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. The program will start in the beginning of 2026 up to 31 December 2026.

Fresh Graduate Program 2026 - Information Technology (IT)

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelors (S1) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Fresh graduate, 0 - <1 year of experience.
• Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) is 3.00 out of 4.00
• Technical understanding of cloud computing, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and IT infrastructure fundamentals (servers, networking).
• English proficiency (written and verbal) at least intermediate level.
• Customer service orientation, problem-solving mindset, quick learner.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, basic scripting (PowerShell / Python), Linux / Windows Server is a plus.
