Jawa-1 is the first project in Asia with such complex scheme, however with a great spirit and open minded of all parties to obtain a beneficial solution enabling the company to achieve financial close, further to conduct the groundbreaking with dedication, unlimited hard work and effort, creativity in order to achieve company's objective so that this project could complete and meet commercial operation date ("COD"​) on time as committed.
As the first LNG-to-power project in Indonesia, JSP aligns with the country's goals to increase electricity generation through renewable energy sources and contribute to reducing the overall cost of power generation.
JSP will utilize a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) named Jawa Satu Regas to convert the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) needs back into its original gaseous form. The LNG is transported from BP Tangguh, West Papua, and seamlessly integrated with the JSP power plant located in Cilamaya, West Java, through offshore and onshore pipelines.
The electricity generated by JSP will then be supplied to PLN, the national electricity company, playing a crucial role in meeting the country's ever-increasing electricity demand. This strategic initiative reaffirms our commitment to sustainable energy solutions and supports Indonesia's broader goals in developing its electricity infrastructure.

What We Can Achieve Together

To strengthen our Operations team, we are looking for Junior Operators who will play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Combined Cycle Power Plant.
In this role, you will be directly involved in operating and monitoring plant equipment, supporting plant performance, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, eager to learn, and motivated to build a long-term career in power plant operations within a high-performance and safety-driven environment.

We’re Looking for You

As a Junior Operator, you will support the Shift Leader and Operations team in ensuring smooth and safe plant operations. You will be responsible for executing operational activities, monitoring equipment, and maintaining plant performance in line with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support safe and efficient operation of the Combined Cycle Power Plant systems and equipment
  • Assist in start-up, shutdown, and regulation of plant systems in accordance with procedures
  • Perform routine plant inspections, monitor equipment condition, and record operational data
  • Identify abnormalities and report equipment issues through proper reporting systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, and operational procedures
  • Support shift handover by clearly communicating plant status and ongoing issues
  • Assist in implementing Permit to Work (PTW) and maintaining safe work conditions
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
  • Participate in safety audits, safety meetings, and promote safe working practices
  • Support plant performance targets in terms of availability, reliability, and efficiency

What You’ll Bring

  • Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
  • Experience in industrial environments, preferably in power plant operations and maintenance
  • Basic understanding of power plant systems and fundamental engineering principles
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID, technical drawings, and operational data
  • Knowledge of process equipment such as valves, pumps, and basic control systems
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and Permit to Work (PTW) system
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule
  • Strong attention to detail, discipline, and safety awareness
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a team
