Pipeline Engineering Specialist

Job Roles

To lead, monitor, and control design, procurement and installation of the pipelines (rigid and flexible) in the project field, in line with overall project planning and budget, meet quality requirements, and in accordance with HSSE standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and control the design, procurement, and installation of rigid and flexible pipelines in line with project plans, budget, quality, and HSSE requirements
• Oversee pipeline inspection and maintenance activities to ensure integrity and operational reliability
• Analyze and interpret pipeline integrity data and manage repair or rectification of damaged pipelines
• Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable pipeline operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical, Material, Metallurgy or related engineering discipline). Preferable in structural / pipeline engineering.
• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in pipeline engineering design, construction and operation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience or proven track record handling at least five offshore / nearshore pipeline projects.
• Strong technical background in pipeline construction and engineering, including pipeline, mechanical, material and corrosion, and safety engineering.
• Familiarity with Oil and Gas industry standards and codes for pipeline design, construction, and operations.
• Good command of English (written and verbal)
• Position level may be adjusted based on the candidate’s experiences / competencies and / or interview results.
