Planter Development Program (PDP) Batch XXII

Planter Development Program (PDP) is one of the education and development programs for new Assistant candidates at PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk which aims to shape and prepare future leaders at the Site. PDP is the entry point for leaders at Astra Agro Lestari in the dynamics and process of becoming the true leader.

Who Are We Looking For?

To be able to join the PDP Astra Agro Lestari program, you need to meet several requirements as follows:

• Minimum education Diploma 4 / Bachelor's degree
• Have an interest in working in the Palm Oil industry
• Willing to be placed at Astra Agro work locations in Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi

• PDP Tanaman (PDP-TAN), majoring in Agriculture (Agronomy, Agrotechnology, Plant Pests and Diseases, Soil Science), Forestry, Biology
• PDP Teknik (PDP-TEK), majoring in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering
• PDP Pabrik (PDP-PAB), majoring in Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Product Processing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
• PDP Administrasi (PDP-ADM), majoring in Economics, Management, Taxation, Law, Psychology

Selection Process

Selection

• If you meet the requirements then you will proceed to the Psychotest & Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) stage. In the psychotest stage you will be given various tests that function to assess your personality, cognitive level, and various mental abilities. Meanwhile, in the Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) stage you will be faced with a case that must be solved with a predetermined group. This test also serves to determine the starting point of your development roadmap.

Interview

• Interview is an opportunity to get to know each other better, and for you to tell us what makes you different. You can share your career goals, skills, and your growth plan.

Medical Test

• The medical test stage is carried out to ensure that you are physically fit to start working.

Offering Letter

• If you receive an offering letter after successfully passing the medical test, congratulations because it means you can join the big family of Astra Agro Lestari.

PDP Timeline

Mental and Physical Development

• Selected candidates will receive physical and leadership training as preparation for training at the site.

InClass Training

• Located at the Head Office, you will attend a series of classes on topics regarding the palm oil plantation business processes that will be applied at the site. In this session, you will also have the opportunity to attend sharing and question-and-answer sessions filled by Astra Agro Lestari executives.

On The Job Training

• After InClass training, you will be placed at the designated site for technical and management skills training at the workplace (On the Job).

Evaluation

• In the last month of the internship period, you will undergo a final evaluation by site management. Participants who are declared to have passed will be appointed as permanent employees.
