IT Security Operation Staff

Job Description

As a SOC L1 Analyst, responsible for early detection of information security incidents through real-time monitoring of security systems such as SIEM and other monitoring platforms 24x7. Acts as the first layer in identifying suspicious activity, analyzing alerts, recording and documenting incidents, and performing initial escalation according to procedures. Collaborates across teams and ensures that every potential threat receives a prompt, accurate, and well-documented response.

Responsibilities

  • Perform real-time information security monitoring on SIEM and other security monitoring platforms (e.g., DarkTrace)
  • Conduct initial triage to determine the urgency and relevance of alerts
  • Record, document, and prepare reports related to information security incidents
  • Escalate to L2 Analyst if cyber incident indications are found
  • Operate on a 24x7 shift schedule (3 shifts) according to SOC schedule
  • Support post-incident review process with complete and accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with other teams (IT Ops, Network, Endpoint) for validation and follow-up
  • Maintain compliance with applicable information security standards in the bank
  • Access and analyze systems such as SIEM, DarkTrace, and internal Threat Intelligence Feed
  • Issue initial incident notification (initial incident ticket)
  • Provide initial technical mitigation recommendations to L2 and related units
  • Ensure all activities and incident logs are well documented

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum education Diploma 3 in Informatics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Systems or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in Security Operation Center (SOC), SOC Monitoring, Cyber Security outside SOC, preferably with additional experience in Endpoint Security or Network Security
  • Familiar with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Wazuh, etc.)
  • Understand log structure, alert correlation, and common attack scenarios (malware, phishing, brute force, port scanning, internal data leak)
  • Experience working in a 24x7 shift system
  • Understand basic network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, able to work under pressure, and disciplined in documentation
  • Communicative and able to work in a team on rotating shifts
