We operates under a Contract of Work, which was amended with a Special Mining Business Permit (IUPK) on May 13, 2024. The contract is valid until December 28, 2035, and the concession covers an area of 118,017 Ha covering South Sulawesi (70,566 hectares), Central Sulawesi (22,699 hectares) and Southeast Sulawesi (24,752 hectares). In producing nickel in the Sorowako Block, we use pyro metallurgical technology (in melting the laterite nickel ore). The Company mines laterite nickel ore and processes it into the final product of nickel in matte. The Company also continues its plan to developing integrated mining practices through the Indonesia Growth Project (IGP) in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, and in Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The development project also targets existing operational locations, in East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. As the two largest shareholders, MIND ID (PT Mineral Industri Indonesia) and Vale Canada Limited (VCL) jointly control PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. MIND ID holds the largest share in the company at 34.00%, while VCL holds approximately 33.88%.
