PETRONAS Indonesia is looking for competent, dynamic, and creative Indonesians to join us in this exciting journey. Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:
Control Room Operator - as Third-Party Contract
Operate and monitor oil field production facilities (Wellheads and Central Processing Platform – CPP) from the Central Control Room to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in accordance with operating procedures, HSE requirements, and production targets.Responsibilities
- Monitor and control Wellhead and CPP production systems via DCS to maintain stable operations, optimize production, and respond promptly to alarms or upsets.
- Lead and Coordinate field operators and onshore/offshore support teams to ensure safe and effective execution of production activities, including start-up, shutdown, and pigging operations.
- Supervise and control routine and emergency activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with process safety and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze production trends, water cut, BS&W, and well performance, and propose operational adjustments or improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Record and review daily operating data, downtime events, and production reports, escalating issues and recommending corrective actions to minimize deferment.
- Support implementation of new technologies, process improvements, and optimization projects at the CPP and Wellheads.
- Actively participate in HSE initiatives, including risk assessments, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills, maintaining high standards of safety readiness.
- Mentor and guide junior operators and CROs to strengthen control room operational capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technical discipline (Instrumentation, Process, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in oil & gas production operations, with at least 3 years of recent experience as a Central Control Room Operator (CCRO) on offshore / onshore production facilities.
- Strong knowledge of DCS systems, process operations, and field production optimization.
- Proven ability to respond effectively to plant upsets and emergencies.
- Solid understanding of HSE requirements and process safety in upstream oil & gas.
- Experience in oil field operations is an advantage.
ICS & End User Support Team Leader
Lead, manage, and execute the overall planning, development and operation of end-to-end ICT infrastructure, business telecommunication and network system, information security, ICT compliance, and End User support delivery for business through a comprehensive execution of ICT strategy and operations in order to enable timely, efficient & secured ICT services, and maximum return to stakeholders and country business objectives.Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute the strategies for ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support plan, operation and maintenance at Indonesia operations through development and implementation of annual work program & budget, effective monitoring and optimization, and using relevant tools and methodologies to ensure long term reliability and technical integrity of all asset and services to maximizing value creation, business growth and new business opportunities and to support country business objectives
- Coordinate, evaluate and analyze the end-to-end service level management of ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support system, in ensuring sustainable solutions by institutionalizing best practices in order to ensure effective and efficient sustainable model, and aligned to Upstream business and PETRONAS Group standard and policies, and to meet with country business objectives.
- Establish, conduct and manage the implementation of Country ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support sustainability plan, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines, by working with the management team and Upstream group, to govern the delivery of the sustainability model, in assuring such ICT sustainability plans, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines meet business objectives that are aligned with Upstream business and PETRONAS Group standard and policies
- Carry out research and providing technical advice and analysis pertaining to the implementation and delivery of ICT infrastructure, communication, information security, and end user support system, by identifying leading-edge related framework, methodology, and tools in recommending appropriate and innovative solutions to the key stakeholders to provide reasonable assurance of the adequacy and operating effectiveness.
Requirements
- Degree in IT (Technology / Engineering) or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10-12 years of ICT experience in oil and gas, with sound multi-discipline ICT application and system (Production facilities / process / structure mechanical, electrical & instrument) technical.
- Understanding of E&P Business and possess technical awareness in operations.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and ICT hardware / software systems, and project management.
All Employment arrangement will be under Third Party Contract (TPC).
