Job Desk

  • Explain the Drilling Program and carry out synergistic supervision in efforts to maintain smooth drilling operations and prevent work accidents.
  • Realize the use of costs (contract services / materials) on the AFE - schedule 19 sheet in the daily drilling report sheet provided by the FIRST PARTY.
  • Coordinate several partners at the drilling / workover site: Rig, MLU, Top Drive, Mud chemical and Engineer, RBOP, Liner Hanger, Casing and Tubing Inspection, PSPU, EWLP, Fishing Engineer and Coring Engineer for smooth drilling operations, including Cementing, Perforating, Wireline etc.
  • Prepare casing, tubing, cement, packer etc. requirements for each drilling hole section 26", 17-1/2", 12-1/4", 8-1/2" and / or 6-1/8", if in sidetrack / drilling work.
  • Measure all strings / drilling / coring / fishing assemblies (OD, ID and length) entering the well: Drill Pipe, Drill Collar, HWDP, Tubing, ACP, Packer, Liner Hanger and assy, Casing, Landing collar / Float Collar, float shoe, fishing tools, coring tools etc.
  • Report each drilling activity in the Daily Drilling Report from 06:00 WIB to 06:00 WIB the following day.
  • Fill out the casing / tubing arrangement form and casing / tubing sequence for each casing / tubing run according to size, complete with date, tally number as per drum prepared.
  • Participate in planning plug design, squeeze cement and casing / liner cementing, including required displacement volume, so that plug cement, squeeze cement and casing cementing work runs as planned.
  • In well control, including handling kick, loss circulation, kill well and always communicate with Lead Drilling Engineer and GGR (Geologist and Reservoir Engineer) of the FIRST PARTY Client.
  • Actively participate in designing completion fluid density used in well completion work and always communicate with Lead Drilling Engineer and GGR (Geologist and Reservoir Engineer) of the FIRST PARTY Client.
  • Report time distribution: operating hours, downtime due to damage, standby hours, waiting for material from Rig and Top Drive unit or other trucks in the Daily Drilling Report provided at the FIRST PARTY worksite.
  • Report Mud / complex fluid properties and chemical usage in the daily report sheet every 06:00 WIB morning.
  • Report drilling parameters, drilling mud hydraulics, bit performance (drilled meters, bit life, ROP).
  • Report lithology penetrated by bit daily in the daily report sheet.
  • Fill in drilling time vs depth curve daily.
  • Create / fill bit performance in the bit record sheet for each bit replacement.
  • Participate in planning mud transfer to other FIRST PARTY drilling sites if mud at that site is no longer used.
  • Always communicate with Lead Drilling Engineer of the FIRST PARTY for any abnormal symptoms and obstacles in ongoing drilling operations, including LOT or MOT work.
  • Inform drilling activities completion at 06:00 WIB in the morning and at 18:00 WIB in the evening including obstacles encountered and proposed plans to overcome them.
  • Always pay attention to safety and protect the work environment, workers, equipment, minimize environmental pollution resulting from drilling and well completion work.
  • Placement and assignment of Drilling Supervisor will be determined according to schedule made by the FIRST PARTY, or adjusted to operational needs of the FIRST PARTY.

Qualifications

  • Minimal Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Petroleum / Chemical / Mining / Geology / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • DSV / DSR: Experienced in oil and gas drilling operations minimum 5 years for Bachelor's Degree (S1) graduates and minimum 7 years for Diploma 3 graduates.
  • Night / Day DSR: Experienced in oil and gas drilling operations minimum 1 year as DE / DSR.
  • Possess APB 3 certificate issued by Directorate General of Oil and Gas.
  • Mandatory to have IADC Wellsharp / IWCF Certificate.
  • Able to operate computer, at least proficient in Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Physically healthy and free from drugs, proven by medical certificate.
  • Honest and well-behaved, proven by Police certificate.
  • Have sufficient knowledge and insight regarding HSE and environmental protection.
  • Able to speak active English.
