Shorebase Maintenance Junior

Requirements
- Education: Minimum Senior High School or equivalent
- Major: Mechanical Engineering / Marine Engineering / Technika / Electrical Engineering / Electricity Engineering
- Work Experience: Minimum 3-6 years in ship machinery and electrical fields
Basic Technical Skills
- Able to provide recommendations or alternative solutions based on measurement results of ship parts for machinery / electrical
- Able to use technical measuring instruments:
- Shorebase Mechanical: Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, Crankshaft Deflection, Vernier Caliper (Sigmat), Feeler Gauge
- Shorebase Electrical: Avo meter, Megger Test (insulation), Clamp Meter (ampere meter)
- Able to recommend preventive and corrective actions for maintenance to be more effective and efficient
- Able to prepare planning steps for repairs to be more effective and efficient and utilize refurbished items (mechanical only)
- Understand Planned Maintenance System (PMS) on Ferry Ro-Ro vessels
- Understand maintenance patterns TO / SO / GO (Shorebase Mechanical) and / or wiring / electrical installation systems (Shorebase Electrical) and able to read engineering drawings
- Able to prepare and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control work standards in work stages
- Able to prepare maintenance / troubleshooting reports and provide recommendations to maintain performance and strategic steps
- Experienced as executor / supervisor of engine overhaul > 100 HP (Shorebase Mechanical)
- Experienced as executor / supervisor of maintenance or troubleshooting electrical such as MSB / Electrical Panels / Steering System / Alternator Generator and others (Shorebase Electrical)
Job Description
Monitoring Shorebase, Fleet and Workshop
- Analyze all problems related to fleet machinery and electrical systems
- Prepare conclusions on problem solving from troubleshooting that occurs, including but not limited to machinery and electrical repairs of ships according to standards and quality
Implementation of Machinery and Electrical Maintenance
- Conduct troubleshooting analysis related to fleet machinery and electrical systems
- Prepare troubleshooting handling reports and provide recommendations to maintain fleet machinery and electrical performance
- Carry out fleet machinery and electrical repairs, major overhaul of ship engines, and repair work on fleet machinery and electrical components
- Prepare planning including work schedules, manpower needs, tools, and other supporting requirements for repairs or overhauls
- Provide assistance to fleet crew for troubleshooting related to fleet machinery and electrical systems
