PETRONAS Indonesia is looking for competent, dynamic, and creative Indonesians to join us in this exciting journey. Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Indonesia is looking for the following professionals (for Indonesian citizen only):
Senior Marine Officer
- Overseeing the safe and efficient mooring, connection, cargo offloading, and unmooring of shuttle or offtake tankers tandem with the FSO. Including managing and ensuring all marine operation permits remain valid and compliant. This role requires advanced ship-handling expertise, in-depth knowledge of dynamic positioning (DP) systems, and a thorough understanding of all related marine operations, while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian regulations and international safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates all the required duties for lifting activities to include but not limited to the activities prior to the arrival, inspects and certifies conditions of tanker, during the mooring / unmooring, loading of crude oil, and after the lifting process.
- Coordinates schedules, permits, licenses, and documentation for cargo transfers, vessels, and marine equipment.
- Serve as the Person in Overall Advisory Control (POAC), providing overall authority and operational oversight for all cargo offloading activities involving shuttle tankers.
- Provide expert guidance and oversee the approach, positioning, and secure connection of the offtake tanker for tandem offloading arrangements.
- Perform immediate and decisive control during any emergency situations arising in offloading operations, such as severe weather, hose failure, or tanker drive-off / drift-off scenarios. Initiate and execute emergency disconnect procedures (EDS) when required to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment.
- Conduct pre-operation briefings with the FSO crew and the shuttle tanker's crew, covering all procedures, emergency plans, and communication protocols.
- Serve as the primary marine liaison between the FSO and the approaching / offtake tanker, as well as with FSO Radio Operator and traffic control (VTS - Vessel Traffic Service) if applicable
- Continuously monitor and interpret weather forecasts and sea state conditions. Advise the OIM on the operational window and initiate delays or shutdowns if limits are exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, decrees, and regulations issued by Indonesian authorities, including but not limited to:
- Dirjen Hubla (Directorate General of Sea Transportation): All maritime and shipping regulations.
- SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities): Specific requirements for crude oil lifting operations.
- Indonesian Port Authority and Harbourmaster: Requirements for the specific offshore field location.
- Ensure all marine operations logs, offloading records, tanker paperwork (including validity of certifications and insurance), and pre- / post-operation checklists are accurately completed and filed.
- Ensure the offtake tanker has all necessary clearances and permits to operate in Indonesian waters.
- Responsible for managing and ensuring all marine operation permits remain valid and compliant
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency for Deck Officer Class I and Maritime Pilot Class I
- Minimum 5 years experience as Mooring Master
- Valid STCW Master Mariner Certificate
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate
- Local Indonesian Pilotage License / Certification may be required or highly advantageous
- Successful completion of mooring / un-mooring operations
- A minimum of 5-10 years of sea-going experience as a Master on Aframax oil tanker is highly desirable.
- Extensive and proven experience as a Mooring Master on an FSO or an Aframax / Larger tanker is essential.
- Deep understanding of vessel hydrodynamics, interaction, and forces involved in close-quarters manoeuvrings.
- Ability to command respect, lead multi-national teams, and make critical decisions under extreme pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills to quickly assess changing situations and implement solutions
Stakeholder Management Officer
- The Stakeholder Management Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of the Stakeholder Management Plan, including CSR initiatives, engagement sessions, and official / external relations activities. This role ensures effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, promotes and enhances the company’s image, and minimizes potential social disturbances to operations. This position also supports the execution of country strategies and initiatives, contributing to the Company’s sustainable business growth and community development.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement the Stakeholder Management Program in line with company strategies and approved Work Program and Budget.
- Oversee and monitor CSR initiatives (infrastructure, education, public health, socio-economic, environment, culture).
- Conduct engagement programs with host authorities, industry partners, and local government.
- Liaise with SKK MIGAS and relevant authorities to address community grievances in accordance with the grievance mechanism procedure.
- Execute and monitor Country Stakeholder Strategies and Initiatives, providing strategic recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, NGOs, PSCs, industry partners, and communities.
- Ensure compliance with company’s governance, COBE, and HSE policies.
- Drive leadership and capability development within the team, fostering integrity, ownership, and operational excellence.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Stakeholder Management or Government Relations, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Prior work experience in East Java area will be considered an additional advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Social Impact Management programs, socio-cultural and socio-economic issues, and E&P business operations.

Electrical Technician - as a Third Party
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, commissioning, and repair of electrical systems and equipment particularly Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) packages, power distribution, and motor drive systems to support safe, reliable, and cost effective operations of the Company’s offshore oil and gas production facilities, in accordance with the highest technical and HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in accordance with approved procedures, OEM recommendations, and statutory requirements.
- Execute maintenance and troubleshooting on Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, including motors, MCCs, switchboards, lighting, UPS, battery systems, and LV distribution panels.
- Perform electrical maintenance activities on Medium Voltage (MV) systems including transformers and MV switchgear in compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
- Support operation, inspection, and routine electrical maintenance of Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) packages, including generators, excitation systems, protection relays, synchronising panels, and GTG auxiliary electrical systems, in coordination with Mechanical, Instrument, and OEM / vendor teams.
- Carry out first line troubleshooting of Solar GTG electrical faults, alarms, and trips, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions in conjunction with discipline engineers and vendors.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on Variable Speed Drives (VSD) associated with production equipment, including ESP pump systems, covering drive panels, power electronics, control interfaces, and protection circuits.
- Support electrical aspects of ESP pump systems, including motor feeders, transformers, VSD supplies, insulation resistance testing, cable systems, and fault investigation in coordination with operations and vendors.
- Assist in installation, dismantling, assembly, commissioning, testing, and functional checks of electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, circuit breakers, protection systems, and electrical panels.
- Coordinate and monitor electrical installation and modification works performed by contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for electrical maintenance activities in compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures; review subcontractors’ JSA submissions and provide technical and safety guidance.
- Provide electrical support during offshore shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start up activities.
- Prepare tools, materials, spare parts, and detailed task lists for routine maintenance and shutdown execution.
- Initiate, execute, and close maintenance work orders in CMMS (SAP), ensuring timely and accurate reporting of faults, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, testing, inspection, and equipment history records in CMMS.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and continuous HSE improvement initiatives.
- Participate as required in offshore emergency response activities in accordance with the Emergency Response Plan.
- Work closely with offshore operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, and OEM / vendors to execute work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Polytechnic preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of hands on experience as an Electrical Technician in offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
- Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Permit to Work (PTW) practices in offshore oil and gas operations.
- Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of LV electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
- Exposure to MV electrical systems, transformers, and switchgear maintenance.
- Hands on experience supporting Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) electrical systems or working alongside OEM / vendor GTG maintenance teams.
- Experience with VSD driven equipment, preferably for ESP pump applications.
- Hands on experience using CMMS (SAP preferred) for maintenance execution and reporting.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with a systematic, safety focused approach.
- Ability to work under offshore rotational schedules and challenging operating conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore team.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership of tasks, and consistent commitment to safe operations.
Certification and Competency Advantages (Highly Preferred)
- Hazardous area training / certification.
- OEM or vendor training related to Solar Gas Turbine Generator electrical systems.
- OEM or vendor training for VSD and ESP electrical systems.
- Training or certification in electrical protection systems, synchronisation, or power generation systems.
- Certified Low and Medium Voltage either from LSP BNSP standard or from DJK (Dirjen Ketenagalistrikan).
Legal Counsel
- Provide effective and efficient legal advice, consultation to company on business activities as well as formulate the best course of action or draft agreements to ensure that the company's legal rights and obligations are clearly defined, interpreted, implemented and safeguarded in line with PETRONAS governance.
Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Analyze and recommend legal strategies for commercial agreements or arrangements through participation in negotiations, legal perusal and draft agreements or other legal documents to preserve company’s business objectives and ensure the best terms for the benefit of company are clearly expressed and achieved.
- Identify and analyze legal exposures of any petroleum agreements / arrangements (PSC, JOA, GSA, GTA, Facility Sharing Agreements and any related agreements) including new laws and regulations through provide recommendation or participate in the negotiation and draft agreements to ensure company’s legal rights is protected and safeguarded from any action by third parties and / or the enactment of new laws and regulations
- Analyze legal issues and provide advice relating to Industrial Relations, Disciplinary Actions, Codes of Conduct, and other HR legal issues involving applicable local laws and regulations that govern the employee and the company.
- Familiar and experience in handling supply chain management of oil and gas industry, review and response to any clarifications or exception by bidders / contractors / vendors / suppliers.
- Proven capability in overseeing litigation matters before local courts and managing international arbitration matters.
- Monitor the quality of papers / documents prior submission to Company Secretary through review to ensure consistency and objectives are clearly expressed in the paper / documents in order to obtain endorsement or direction from the Board.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum 10-12 years’ experience in in E&P organization or oil and gas or downstream industries.
- Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, and independent with local stakeholders.
- Teamwork and strong emotional stability to work under pressure and tight deadline.
- Demonstrate strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to a non-legal person.
- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks with constantly changing requirements.
Senior Reliability Engineer
- The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure and continuously improve the reliability and integrity of critical equipment across regional operations by conducting failure analysis, driving improvement initiatives, reviewing operational and maintenance practices, and monitoring action plans to optimize asset performance and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies in line with Reliability and Integrity Management System (RIMS) requirements to enhance long-term plant and equipment reliability.
- Perform equipment life data analysis (LDA) e.g. Weibull analysis, failure trend analysis, MTBF evaluation, MTTR to understand failure behaviour, predict remaining life, and support maintenance strategy optimization.
- Monitor and analyse plant and equipment reliability performance, including preparation of reliability reports, bad actor management, and lesson learn sharing to ensure effective performance monitoring and continuous operational improvement.
- Coordinate and facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) activities to identify equipment failure causes, implement effective corrective and preventive actions, and improve overall plant / equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
- Review and evaluate operational and maintenance practices through Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) to strengthen equipment integrity, optimize maintenance strategies, and improve operational performance.
- Prepare work plans and budgets for reliability programs, including prioritization of initiatives, cost estimation, and tracking of expenditure to ensure effective and value-driven implementation.
- Drive the implementation and adoption of new technologies and improvement initiatives to enhance plant / equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company governance, HSE policies, and applicable procedures while promoting a strong culture of safety, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement across operations.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting team capability development, leadership growth, and collaborative working environments.

Maintenance Planner
- The successful candidate will be responsible to develop and execute long-term regional maintenance objectives, strategies, and integrated plans in compliance with design specifications, industry codes and standards, PETRONAS and statutory requirements, and the PCINO Asset Integrity and Maintenance System (AIMS), ensuring operational excellence, asset integrity, and world-class performance standards.
Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Develop and implement long-term integrated maintenance strategies aligned with corporate maintenance philosophy to ensure facility reliability and technical integrity.
- Establish effective maintenance schedules, critical spare parts, and material requirements based on manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, and best practices to achieve equipment reliability targets.
- Oversee preparation and monitoring of Work Program and Budget (WP&B) to ensure efficient budget utilization and cost control for maintenance activities.
- Lead maintenance KPI implementation, performance reviews, and reporting to ensure maintenance activities are executed according to approved plans and objectives.
- Manage HSE initiatives and compliance with statutory, PETRONAS, and PCSB standards to promote strong HSE awareness and achieve safety objectives.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to align maintenance priorities with production goals.
Requirements

Senior Occupational Safety Officer - as a Third Party
- Plan and implement Occupational Health and Safety programs, including contractor management, to ensure all activities are executed in compliance with regulatory requirements, Company standards, and applicable HSE regulations. The role is responsible for driving high safety performance across operations through effective risk management, assurance activities, and continuous improvement of safety culture.
- The position also provides broad based Occupational Safety support across operations, projects, drilling campaigns, logistics (marine), and other business activities as required, including facilitation, advisory support, inspections, and safety assessments.
Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Plan and implement annual Occupational Safety programs aligned with operational requirements and business needs and provide technical advice to line personnel and Contractors on occupational safety matters to strengthen safety awareness, reinforce safety culture, and ensure full compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
- Provide flexible occupational safety support across offshore and onshore operations, projects, drilling campaigns, and logistics activities, including participation in safety facilitation sessions, field inspections, and HSE advisory assignments as required.
- Facilitate and participate in Safety Risk Assessments, ensuring hazards are properly identified, risks are accurately evaluated, and appropriate preventive and recovery barriers are established. Review and support preparation of Safety Risk Assessment reports and ensure alignment with line management for implementation of recommendations.
- Plan and participate in HSE assurance activities (including HSEMS Self Assessments, FESI, PIR, and other assurance programs), analyse findings, and recommend effective HSE controls. Oversee implementation of corrective actions arising from risk assessments, assurance findings, emergency response exercises, and incident investigation lessons learned.
- Facilitate incident investigations in accordance with Company Incident Investigation and Reporting procedures, ensuring structured analysis, accurate identification of root causes, and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions with stakeholder alignment.
- Plan and execute occupational safety training and competency development programs for Indonesia Operations, including contractors, to strengthen HSE capability, awareness, and culture across all organizational levels.
- Support contractor HSE management by ensuring effective implementation of Contractor HSE Management System (CHSEMS) principles throughout the contractor lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years of professional HSE experience in E&P, Oil and Gas, or Petrochemical industries.
- Strong exposure to oil and gas projects, operations (offshore and onshore, offshore experience preferred), drilling activities, and marine / logistics operations.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Safe System of Work (SSoW).
- Experience in contractor HSE management and familiarity with the CHSEMS framework and its implementation across project phases.
- Strong theoretical understanding of occupational safety principles with demonstrated ability to apply them effectively in field and operational environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured reasoning, and problem-solving capability.

Senior Interface and Risk Engineer
- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinate, administer and manage contract management with the External and Internal parties as defined in PETRONAS Management Plan to ensure all technical interfaces are properly contained in a beneficial manner according to company objective.
Job Responsibility and Accountability
- Contract Development and Tender Management
- Lead the preparation and management of contract documents for subcontractors by coordinating with the SCM Department throughout the tendering process up to contract award, ensuring timely execution, commercial compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
- Contract Strategy and Planning
- Develop and direct internal contract strategies for Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, and related project phases by aligning contractual approaches with company requirements, project objectives, risk management, and commercial value optimization.
- Contract Package Evaluation and Award Recommendation
- Review and recommend contract packages to the SCM Department by ensuring compliance of contract documents and scope of work during ITBs, pre-bid discussions, negotiations, and contract award processes to secure technically and commercially sound agreements.
- Contract Administration and Claims Management
- Lead contract management activities throughout the project lifecycle, including handling contract deviations, progress monitoring, claims, back charges, amendments, and change orders, while supporting negotiations with contractors and third parties to protect company interests and ensure contractual compliance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination and Stakeholder Alignment
- Coordinate and liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure contractual provisions incorporate operational, technical, commercial, and corporate objectives while supporting smooth project execution. Maintain positive communication and collaboration with all related stakeholders and parties involved to ensure effective issue resolution and alignment with company project goals and objectives. Ensure that all project designs, engineering activities, and executions comply with the Project Risk Register and Legal Register document to ensure the design are fully aligned with applicable Government of Indonesia regulations, codes, and standards, including but not limited to oil and gas, HSE, environmental, labor, and maritime regulations.
- Commercial Governance and Value Assurance
- Ensure the commercial value of project expenditures is technically and commercially justifiable within the approved AFE by monitoring contractual commitments, cost impacts, and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
