Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) or applied Bachelor's degree (D4) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering, majoring in Control Systems or Instrumentation, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, control systems, or automation
• Advanced knowledge of and / or skills in Compressor and Dryer Maintenance, Control Valve Maintenance (Pressurised and Pneumatic), DCS Maintenance and Programming, Damper Maintenance, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), PLC Maintenance, Control and Instrumentation Systems Maintenance (Basic and Advanced), and SCADA WinCC Maintenance and Programming
• Experienced in and familiar with relevant standards (ISA, IEC, IEEE, AS, PUIL)
• Experience in a power plant environment, an electricity competency certificate (Sertifikat Kompetensi Ketenagalistrikan), and PLC / DCS vendor training are advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of industrial data communication, motors, and variable speed drives
• Good financial skills to handle project and budget responsibilities
• Good knowledge of KPC / CPHD policies / procedures and government regulations impacting the tasks / projects
• Solid communication skills with proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, both verbal and written
• Strong work planning and management as well as problem-solving skills
• Strong achievement orientation as well as teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Meet the general recruitment and / or promotion requirements regarding performance appraisal score, employee grade, and tenure in the minimum grade
• Willing to be based in East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan
• Strong commitment to KPC's vision-mission-values, HSES standards, continuous business improvement, and cost optimisation

Key Roles and Accountabilities

• Prepare technical assessments and cost estimates for modification, improvement, and project activities
• Develop and maintain control system and instrumentation maintenance procedures for coal-fired power plants and diesel gensets
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens S7 and Allen-Bradley)
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot DCS systems (MaxDNA)
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot SCADA systems (Siemens WinCC)
• Conduct FMEA and RCA for coal-fired power plants and diesel gensets and develop maintenance schedules for technicians
• Prepare designs, specifications, and cost estimates for modifications and improvement projects undertaken by the Maintenance and Operations Departments, ensuring compliance with applicable Indonesian and international standards
• Identify operational and technical issues and develop solutions to improve equipment performance, availability, reliability, maintainability, and safety while minimising costs and environmental impacts
• Prepare and submit Capital Expenditure Applications (CEAs) for control systems, instrumentation, and related engineering projects
• Organise control systems and instrumentation projects to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with KPC Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards
• Direct contractors to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required standards
• Contribute to the following areas as required for the Grade-D-Functional position in KPC: health, safety, and environment; budgeting and cost control; and business and performance improvement
