Job Description
- Education: Nautical / Shipping (ANT I/II)
- Experience as Master / Senior Deck Officer / Chief Mate / Second Mate as well as Owner Superintendent
- Minimum 5 years of experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementation and Maintenance of ISM / ISO requirements and certification (office and vessel)
- Supervision, prevention, and handling of accidents and marine pollution
- Review and research of technology, legislation, and regulations related to navigation, hull, machinery, radio equipment
- Review and assessment of sailing routes
- Providing guidance and supervision of loading both vehicles and passengers on board
- Reviewing and providing guidance and supervision of inspections conducted by PSC, Class, and flag state
- Implementation and maintenance of ISPS requirements and certification
- Evaluation of Crew (Master and Deck Officers)
- Ship management for expenditure budget and matters related to ship sales and purchases
