PETRONAS Indonesia is looking for competent, dynamic, and creative Indonesians to join us in this exciting journey. Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:

Senior HUC Engineer - Third Party Contract

Plan, lead, manage and implement all the approved HUC projects with optimum results, compliance to HSEMS and Statutory Regulations and cost effective whilst upholding the highest technical integrity to effectively monetize and grow PCML’s global portfolio and opportunities.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Plan, manage, and implement approved Long-Term Work Barge, Workboat, and Supply Boat programs for HUC campaigns to maximize vessel utilization, create project synergies, and reduce operational cost. Ensure all approved projects are executed with optimal resources, logistics, and appropriate technologies to support asset monetization.
  • Develop best practice plans by reviewing contractor proposals, evaluating work packs and safety documents, and monitoring all project phases-from prefabrication to offshore execution and close-out. Coordinate closely with Operations and Offshore Installation teams to optimize cost, schedule, and resources, while ensuring compliance with project objectives and corporate aspirations. Maintain and disseminate updated technical standards and best practices across projects and OPUs.
  • Act as a solution provider by analysing and recommending the best technical and operational solutions across all field life-cycle phases (acquisition, exploration, development, production, and decommissioning) to support sound investment decisions and effective risk mitigation.
  • Identify, assess, and compile new and niche technologies to maintain competitive advantage and support continuous improvement.
  • Administer and manage project interfaces among customers, contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth execution, contractual compliance, and minimal operational disruptions through continuous monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical, Electrical Instrument and Control, Civil and Material Engineering
  • At least 8 - 10 years in related activities for Oil and Gas industry.
  • Organised and structured worker, able to meet multiple tight deadlines.
  • Possess good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, leadership skills and independent.
  • Experience in handling EPCIC projects is an advantage.

IT Helpdesk

Provide for computer user, supporting equipment and the other facility related to the I.T job to make it all the system working properly as an integrated network in the Petronas Carigali Indonesia Operation and prevent unexpected problem by updating the system include of software and hardware.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Provide end-user support for computers, IT equipment, and facilities to ensure all systems operate as an integrated network.
  • Perform preventive maintenance by updating and monitoring software and hardware to minimize unexpected disruptions.
  • Support IT operations in alignment with PETRONAS systems and standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining effective relationships with government bodies, industry players, and service providers.
  • Contribute to a disciplined, performance-driven, and high-integrity work culture.

Requirements

  • Degree in IT (Technology / Engineering) or relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ in oil, gas, and related industry.
  • Advance computer skills
  • Good knowledge in SAP
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Able to support operational standby requirements during core business hours.
  • Administration knowledge

Drilling Fluid and Cementing Engineer

We are seeking a Drilling Fluid and Cementing Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for prepare and execute all aspect of drilling fluid and cementing engineering works including contract requirement in Indonesia Operation for development of oil and gas reserve in order to meet stakeholder’s and company’s objectives and aspiration.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Prepare, lead and supervise the implementation of the drilling fluid,cementing and geo-mechanics programs in the project team(s) to ensure all activities are operated in safe and cost effective manner.
  • Reduce non-productive time and trouble cost related to drilling fluid, cementing and hole making by identifying problems and recommend remedial action to drilling team.
  • Consolidate, capture and verify all drilling fluid,cementing and geomechanic technical information and disseminate them to the various drilling engineers in projects teams so as to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Review, analyse and modify the base requirement for the scope of work and technical specifications for the tender packages in order to be in line with project requirement and meeting the minimum cost concept and HSE requirement.
  • Ensure on contracted drilling rigs and 3rd party drilling fluid equipment,materials and supplies compliance to contract technical specifications and PCSB’s safety standards by participating on site rig inspections acceptance test.
  • Provide continuous advice to respective project team(s) on daily well fluid properties, hole stability and cost impact if any to ensure safe and cost effective operations. Ensure drilling fluid and cementing operations are performed in full compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert support to rig for decisions making to ensure that cementing operations are designed and performed efficiently and in accordance with standards and procedures. Ensure cementing unit is well maintained with the necessary spares and preventive checklists has been performed.
  • Participate in evaluating cementing failures (using root cause analysis techniques) and report findings, lesson learned and recommendations to avoid reoccurrence of problems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering preferably with strong drilling curriculum.
  • Minimum 8 years in drilling industry focusing on drilling fluids and cementing including knowledge of geomechanics. Minimum 3 years offshore wellsite experience.
  • Having minimum 3 years experiences managing drilling fluid and cementing as operator in offshore enviroment.
  • Good knowledge in deepwater activity
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Financial Accountant

Manage financial records including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow, and other required documents in compliance with group accounting policies and procedures, corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws and regulations in both home and host countries.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Manage and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including financial statements and consolidation packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies.
  • Prepare financial performance reports such as financial analysis and ageing reports to support management decision-making, including materials for quarterly board meetings.
  • Prepare and analyse revenue accounting for operated-by-others (OBO) entities, ensuring revenue is accurately, timely, and properly recorded in the accounting system.
  • Coordinate and support statutory audits by preparing financial statements, audit schedules, and related documentation in compliance with accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, and audit timelines for submission to external auditors.
  • Review and enhance accounting procedures, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with internal requirements, and promote consistency in financial accounting practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a solid understanding of the E&P business and lifecycle
  • Experience in an audit firm or Oil and Gas industry is preferred
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer literacy with strong analytical capabilities.
