Drilling Fluid and Cementing Engineer

  • We are seeking a Drilling Fluid and Cementing Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for prepare and execute all aspect of drilling fluid and cementing engineering works including contract requirement in Indonesia Operation for development of oil and gas reserve in order to meet stakeholder’s and company’s objectives and aspiration.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Prepare, lead and supervise the implementation of the drilling fluid,cementing and geo-mechanics programs in the project team(s) to ensure all activities are operated in safe and cost effective manner.
  • Reduce non-productive time and trouble cost related to drilling fluid, cementing and hole making by identifying problems and recommend remedial action to drilling team.
  • Consolidate, capture and verify all drilling fluid,cementing and geomechanic technical information and disseminate them to the various drilling engineers in projects teams so as to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Review, analyse and modify the base requirement for the scope of work and technical specifications for the tender packages in order to be in line with project requirement and meeting the minimum cost concept and HSE requirement.
  • Ensure on contracted drilling rigs and 3rd party drilling fluid equipment,materials and supplies compliance to contract technical specifications and PCSB’s safety standards by participating on site rig inspections acceptance test.
  • Provide continuous advice to respective project team(s) on daily well fluid properties, hole stability and cost impact if any to ensure safe and cost effective operations. Ensure drilling fluid and cementing operations are performed in full compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert support to rig for decisions making to ensure that cementing operations are designed and performed efficiently and in accordance with standards and procedures. Ensure cementing unit is well maintained with the necessary spares and preventive checklists has been performed.
  • Participate in evaluating cementing failures (using root cause analysis techniques) and report findings, lesson learned and recommendations to avoid reoccurrence of problems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering preferably with strong drilling curriculum.
  • Minimum 8 years in drilling industry focusing on drilling fluids and cementing including knowledge of geomechanics. Minimum 3 years offshore wellsite experience.
  • Having minimum 3 years experiences managing drilling fluid and cementing as operator in offshore enviroment.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Completion Engineer

  • We are seeking a Completion Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manage and lead overall completion related activities in Indonesia Operation through completion engineering, operation excellence, inventory management, contract preparation and completion operations to achieve safe and efficient operation for exploration and development of oil and gas reserves in line with stakeholder’s and company’s objectives and aspiration.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Lead the development and implementation of overall completion engineering plan and execution by ensuring all completion activities are accordance with technical standards, approved programs, engineering solutions, and best practices in the most efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner to ensure maximum value creation and sustainable business growth.
  • Lead the enhancement of completion operations efficiency and optimization by validating reporting, constantly evaluating, and analyzing the practices, procedures and problems, and recommend changes for better efficiency.
  • Drive well completion program efficiently and safely by implementing and enforcing best well completion engineering practices in all aspects of completion designs to ensure cost optimization and efficiency whilst maintaining operational productivity.
  • Manage safe and efficient well completion operation by utilizing relevant and fit-for-purpose technologies and best practices applications to enhance and sustain operational excellence and competitive edge that will consistently draw stakeholders’ / customers’ satisfaction and confidence.
  • Lead technical support in completion activities by providing direction, advice, and coordinate operation to ensure smooth operation to avoid operational problems or non-productive time that may occur during completion operations to deliver the well as per the planned objectives.
  • Manage, plan and control inventory management for well completion activities such as timely scheduling of equipment, materials, and services by continuously forecasting activities and requirements to avoid costly delays and impact to project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline.
  • This position requires a professional with minimum of 8 years experiences and technical knowledge in well completion as operator in offshore environment.
  • Experience in handling development and production activities in worksite as well as other related / required skills in respective area.

Drilling Cost Controller

  • We are seeking a Drilling Cost Controller to join our team. The job purpose is to manage the end-to-end project cost control cycle for drilling operations. This includes tracking daily expenditures, reviewing performance against approved budgets, and preparing management reports to address performance gaps. The goal is to ensure effective project delivery and financial discipline throughout the well construction lifecycle.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Monitoring contract expenditures (ACV) and creation of PR / PO / RO for drilling services.
  • Process drilling vendor’s / contractor’s invoices for payment purposes.
  • Prepare monthly accrual Value of Work Done (VOWD) and well cost adjustment to finance.
  • Prepare monthly drilling cash forecast and cost status to finance.
  • Prepare and update drilling year end projection / anticipated final cost for drilling
  • Monitoring and control budget WP&B and Drilling AFE.
  • Involve on preparation Cost Data for submission WP&B and AFE Drilling to SKK Migas
  • Prepare Close Out Package AFE Drilling to be submitted to SKK Migas

Requirements

  • Well verse in SAP application for PO / RO / PR creation purposes.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years experiences in Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Expertise in managing Approved Contract Value (ACV) and Authorization for Expenditure (AFE), including tracking actual costs against sanctioned amounts.

Senior Reservoir Surveillance Engineer

  • Conduct surveillance monitoring wells performance, update RMP, reservoir simulation and support study team as per PETRONAS guidelines and managing reservoir performance as per endorsed RMP for respective fields to maximize HC recovery factor and at the same time to prevent / reduce profit loss.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Conduct surveillance and analyze well performance using technology to optimize production, aligning with reservoir management plans.
  • Support production optimization by reviewing well proposals and enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement reservoir management and operating strategies through integrated studies to sustain long-term reserves and resource recovery.
  • Manage short- and long-term production forecasts (STPF & LTPF) using methods like DCA, simulation, FMB, and network modeling to support planning (e.g., MTL, lifting targets, WPB, POD, ARPR) and align asset performance with strategic updates.
  • Conduct annual Field Reservoir Management Reviews (FRMR) through technical evaluations (field, well, reservoir) to enhance reservoir understanding, update FPD plans, and identify opportunities for maximizing oil recovery.
  • Perform regular dynamic model updates and coordinate with the study team to ensure forecast accuracy and support reservoir surveillance and RMP implementation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering discipline, post graduate degree would be an added advantage.
  • Requires a professional with 5-8 years of comprehensive Petroleum Engineering experience in both oil and gas development and production phases.
  • Have an in-depth technical experience in reservoir engineering development projects as well as reservoir management and production.
  • Possess wide experience in managing petroleum engineering activities in various domestic or international environments.

Procurement Officer

  • Execute operational sourcing activities through rationalization of departments’ request, meet urgent and ad-hoc requirements and guide user on SCM process to ensure compliance to Countries policies and procedures and meet business requirement.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Implement and track procurement plans for materials and services to meet project schedules, avoid delays, and ensure compliance with country policies and governance standards while maximizing value creation.
  • Conduct sourcing and tendering activities including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award—in collaboration with stakeholders and in full compliance with tendering procedures to support project needs and optimize value.
  • Improve sourcing systems, procedures, and processes by evaluating their effectiveness and implementing corrective actions to ensure alignment with established sourcing policies and enhance value creation.
  • Provide guidance and standardized solutions using SCM guidelines to ensure user compliance with country policies and maintain process integrity.
  • Address urgent procurement needs by optimizing resources, mitigating risks, and protecting project quality and timelines. Manage Tender Committee activities as Secretary to ensure an open, fair, and compliant tender process.
  • Identify and share best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve project execution and enhance SCM performance in line with procedures, regulations, and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Any Technical, Science or relevant discipline.
  • An advanced degree in Management (MBA / BBA) or any internationally recognized professional qualification related to procurement and logistics, distribution, etc. is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement / contract management related activities in Oil and Gas industry.
  • Knowledge in procurement application system is an added advantage, i.e. SAP, SRM
  • Hold PTK 007 certificate.
  • Experience in handling EPCIC projects is an advantage.

AP / AR Assistant - Treasury

  • Responsible to ensureensure effective management and control of Treasury functions, including daily fund and banking operations, by performing all activities accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and PETRONAS Group accounting policies, procedures, and guidelines. This is to deliver efficient and reliable financial services that meet internal and external customer needs, maintain company liquidity, and support the achievement of business objectives and strategies.
  • Perform, maintain and control Treasury and Insurance activities in order to meet daily operations requirements and advice on commercial arrangement by ensuring sufficient funds and best practices advice in accordance with PETRONAS Group Accounting Policies, Procedures and Guidelines and applicable laws and regulations of the home and host countries thereby contributing towards the realization of company’s business objectives and strategies.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Cash and Investment Management: Oversees cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and funding operations, including loan drawdowns and equity injections.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Manages mandatory Central Bank reporting (LLD and DHE) and ensures all activities comply with corporate governance and statutory legislation.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Utilizes SAP to reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate cash flow records.
  • Insurance Strategy: Provides expert recommendations on insurance clauses within commercial contracts and ensures coverage aligns with the Country Insurance Matrix.
  • Claims Management: Leads the insurance claims process by coordinating with adjusters and insurers to secure maximum settlements.
  • Petty Cash Oversight: Monitors daily petty cash transactions and fund availability in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Fosters strategic relationships with government authorities, service providers, and industry players to capture business opportunities.
  • Governance and Leadership: Enforces PETRONAS’s Code of Conduct (COBE) and HSE policies while driving team capability development and a high-performance culture.

Requirements

Senior Reservoir Engineer

  • We are seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out reservoir engineering technical evaluation through Life-of-field (LOF) reservoir engineering evaluation and services in conceptual and full Field Development Plan (FDP), Full Field review (FFR), reservoir management, reserves addition, Annual Review of Petroleum Resources (ARPR) and related sub-surface activities in order to monetize and achieve optimum hydrocarbon production, reserves exploitation and maximizing value return and sustainable business growth in line with PETRONAS Indonesia current and future business requirement in field appraisal, development and production.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

  • Develop the conceptual and full FDP by integrating reservoir engineering inputs such as the recovery factor (RF), production profile deliverability and number of wells in collaboration with other technical disciplines in order to achieve the targeted Reserves To Be Developed (RTBD).
  • Perform Reservoir Engineering evaluation for additional oil and gas identification and near field appraisals through FFR / EOR studies in collaboration with other technical disciplines in order to achieve the targeted Reserves to Be Developed (RTBD).
  • Formulate RMP and Operating Strategy (OS) by formulating surveillance activities, well performance analysis, production forecasting, hydrocarbon allocation in order to sustain Technical Potential (TP) and long-term reserves recovery in safeguarding developed oil and gas resources.
  • Analyze the reservoir by utilizing the relevant software or tools to predict the characteristics, behavior of the reservoirs and production deliverability which form basis for further technical assessment of the exploration fields, development fields, block evaluation and acquisition including Near Field Exploration (NFE) and Discovered Resource Opportunity (DRO) to sustain PCINO business growth.
  • Identify and analyze the opportunities for production optimization, production enhancement, workover, idle well, technology implementation and well integrity activities by conducting FFR to recover bypass oil, and unlock potential reserves behind casing in order to optimize recovery of reserves, achieve production target and sustain long term production from producing fields to maximize PCINO profit in maximizing the recovery.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-10 years experiences in Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Strong influencing skills based on good technical basis and judgement is critical to ensure effectiveness in providing reservoir engineering inputs in Multi-disciplinary team.
  • Good team player with high professionalism and integrity on the sub-surface technical evaluation / proposal is critical to ensure high quality, effective and timely decision making by the management.
