Geophysicist

• Kecamatan Sanga-Sanga, East Kalimantan

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the quality and validity of geophysical survey data.
• Perform onboard data analysis during survey operations.
• Process, analyze, and interpret geophysical survey data.
• Ensure survey activities comply with project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain proper data management and documentation.
• Prepare accurate and reliable survey reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geophysical, geological, or hydrographic surveys, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Good understanding of geophysical survey methods, seabed and sub-seabed geology, and data interpretation.
• Experience in Side Scan Sonar (SSS) survey acquisition.
• Familiar with EdgeTech 4125 Side Scan Sonar system.
• Experienced in geophysical data processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of HSSE procedures and survey standards.
• Offshore or delta environment experience is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• 2+ years of work experience with Side Scan Sonar.

Work Location

• Willing to be placed in Kecamatan Sanga - Sanga, Kab. Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur
• Field base or onboard, depending on project requirements.
