Job Description

Ship Deck Rating has an important role in ensuring the smooth running of sailing activities. Responsible for assisting operations on the ship’s deck, as well as supporting various activities related to maintenance, management, and supervision of the deck.
Ordinary Seaman (Kelasi) is responsible to Serang (Boatswain) in carrying out daily duties in the deck department. Carrying out the Officer of the Watch’s orders for surrounding observation and reporting the condition around the ship. Assigned according to Boatswain’s orders during maneuvering.
This recruitment is intended for the Sea Work Agreement Contract Year 2026 Passenger Ship.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate Rating Forming Part of Navigational Watch or Able Seafarer Deck
• Maximum age 45 years by December 31, 2025
• Physically and mentally healthy
• Preferably has experience in the rank and similar type of ship
• Understands and able to carry out daily deck work (mooring, maintenance, deck cleaning)
• Understands basic navigation and able to carry out helm orders
• Understands types of safety equipment on board (Life Saving Appliances), usage, and basic maintenance
• Willing to attend offline selection at PT PELNI Head Office (Central Jakarta) if required
• Complete and valid certification according to STCW 2010 minimum active 12 months

Tukang Angsur

Job Description

Ship Engine Rating has a very important role in ensuring the ship’s engines and equipment function properly during sailing. Responsible for assisting operations and maintenance of ship engines in the engine room.
Tukang Angsur (Wiper) is responsible to the Head Worker, Engineer of the Watch, and Engine Foreman. Assigned to carry out daily work orders related to cleaning and maintenance of the engine room floor, walls, and other machinery. Prioritizes safety and cooperation in maintaining engine and electrical installations.
This recruitment is intended for the acceptance of Sea Work Agreement Contract Employees (PKL) Year 2026 Passenger Ship.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate Rating Forming Part of Engine Watch or Able Seafarer Engine
• Maximum age 45 years by 31 December 2025
• Physically and mentally healthy
• Preferably has experience in the rank and similar type of ship
• Understands and able to carry out daily engine department work
• Understands types of safety equipment on board (Life Saving Appliances), usage, and basic maintenance
• Willing to attend offline selection at PT PELNI Head Office (Central Jakarta) if required
• Complete and valid certification according to STCW 2010 minimum active 12 months
