Specialist Corporate Sustainability

  • Jakarta

Job Purpose

  • Supporting the Manager Corporate Sustainability in data analysis and quality review, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, implementation and monitoring the corporate sustainability agenda.
  • Providing facilitation of obtaining data and write-up for the annual Sustainability Report, Climate-related CDP Report and other disclosures, including managing quality review of input.
  • Roles & Responsibilities 
  • Reporting to the Corporate Sustainability Manager and providing support for corporate sustainability (including climate change) agenda and roadmap implementation.
  • Infrastructure: Supporting the development / update of policies / framework, roadmap and infrastructure of sustainability at the corporate level, review of policies, materiality assessment and facilitating alignment with the Board of Directors, subsidiaries and functions level. 
  • Culture: Identifying and developing programs and initiatives for strengthening organizational culture in sustainability and coordinating the implementation through socialization, advocacy and capacity building activities.
  • Systems: Supporting the development of systems for sustainability data at the corporate level in cooperation and alignment with subsidiaries and functions systems.
  • Performance monitoring: Supporting data analysis on sustainability performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarking against industry best practices. Preparing weekly report, supporting the Quarterly Performance Review materials preparation and facilitating the key function’s KPI monitoring.
  • Supporting data analysis, data consolidation and reviewing write-up for the Sustainability Report, CDP and other disclosures’ preparation and issuance on an annual basis.

Job Requirement Specification & Skills

  • Bachelor degree preferably majoring in Science or Engineering. 
  • 10 years of experience in oil and gas or energy / extractive industries, preferable in one of the following areas: corporate business, corporate social responsibility, HSE, sustainability.
  • Understand the business cycle of oil & gas industry specifically and energy / extractive industry in general.
  • Knowledge in upcoming disclosure frameworks such as IFRS S1 and S2, TNFD, etc. would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, initiatives, & ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable and able to do multi-tasking. Work independently or together with a team.
  • Advanced user of Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, coordination & communication skills
  • Fluent in English both speaking & writing.
  • Passionate in sustainability and sustainable development issues.
