Vacancy for Regional / National Recruitment

Mine Engineer (Short Term Plan & Long Term Plan) 

To produce mine planning, production scheduling, high quality design, projects development and monitoring the implementation in order to support the overall success of meeting the department objectives. 

Accountabilities

  • Implementing and supervising Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring working environmental conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets. 
  • Prepare Mine production plan in weekly and monthly basis (production, equipment models schedule, scenarios etc.) to meet the target following the Mid and Long term plan. Conduct improvement to achieve the better target.
  • Execute and monitor the implementation plan and schedule for entire life of mine for the project (establish assumptions to be used for mine planning, pit optimization, production scheduling optimization, digging sequences, ore blending strategy, equipment requirement, mine Opex, Mine Capex) by optimizing mineral reserves to maximize the mine economic (IRR and NPV) based on the ore feed requirements. 
  • Design the mining hill using all data geology such: block model, ore zone, ore type, grade distribution, stripping ratio, etc and provide regular interval cross section. 
  • Conceptual design the pit in term of maximizes mining ore with considering to drainage plan, equipment capability, stripping ratio, disposal capacity and any engineering overviews. 
  • Prepare and design workable mine plan (short term, medium term, long term) which consist of mine production, equipment model, estimate mine opex and mine capex. Develop mine plan to support mine technical study and provide quarterly forecast as per integrated Business Plan requirement meet the target to ensure reliable production. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Mining Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years experience in related field 
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) 
  • Computer skills software such as Mine Design (Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, etc), Mine Scheduling (Whittle, MineMax, MineSched, etc), Arcview, MSS and Access MS project 
  • Good Communication and presentation skills in written and verbal. 

Senior Geotechnical Engineer 

Develop strategic and execute all aspect and activities for Mine Geotechnical to ensure that all mining and construction processes and standards have been properly assessed Geotechnical and environmentally to have sustainable operation and compliance, also providing geotechnical expertise and services to other departments including improvement / studies at company mine site. 

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain a procedure and program for slope stability design / monitoring for Pit, waste dump / disposal and soil / civil laboratory to achieve company goal. 
  • Establish and maintain a manual for slope stability design and monitoring, Mine Haul Road and Civil Structures to meet government regulation and company requirement. 
  • Review, Assessment and sign off mine plan to ensure slope stability are present in the proposed design (Pit, Disposal, Quarry, Mine Haul Road and Civil structures including stockpiles and sediment pond) and civil / structure design plans from other department within in the company to ensure no geotechnical issues are present in the proposed design. 
  • Review and Control a program for slope stability monitoring in areas of high risk or potential problem areas and data of the Geotechnical instrument / monument system applied in company's area.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement and strategic programs for geotechnical engineering design and construction together with consultants. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Civil / Mining Engineering 
  • Minimum 8 years experience in related field 
  • Registered as a Soil Engineering Expert (Level P.E-G-1) – Indonesian Association of Soil Engineers
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) 
  • Computer skills software such as geotechnical design, mining and civil 
  • Good Communication and presentation skills in written and verbal 

Junior Geotechnical Engineer 

To improve the effectiveness of the geotechnical assessment, operational control for slope stability, bearing capacity, soil improvement / reinforcement related with pits, quarry, disposal or waste dumps, dykes, retaining wall, mine facilities and infrastructures. This role should provide comprehensive engineering recommendations to controls and mitigate risk, while delivering maximum suistanable value for the assets of company and compliance with government regulation & EHS aspects.

Accountabilities

  • Do geotechnical statics and dynamics analysis with emphasize on slope stability, bearing capacity, disposals, and mining infrastructures or permanent facilities.
  • Develop and / or review procedures or standards for geotechnical engineering design for slope stability, bearing capacity, soil improvement / reinforcement and others which would include recognized strong and coherent geotechnical concept, methods and software.
  • Improve and support the effectiveness of geotechnical works that executed by construction department and other department.
  • Participating while work with Vale Technical Excellence Centre and geotechnical consultant to develop and implement continuous improvement and strategic program for geotechnical engineering design and constructions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Civil / Mining Engineering 
  • Minimum 12 moths experience in related field 
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) is preferred 
  • Computer skills software such as Slope / W, Sigma / W, Seep / W, Plaxis 

Junior Hydrology Engineer 

To develop the effectiveness of the team to control Hydrology and Compliance special Hydrology Pond, Compliance for TSS, settling pond, mine drainage, perimeter ditch, perimeter bund, finger, culvert, check dam and other mine hydrology facilities, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, while delivering maximum suistanable value of the assets to company operation and compliance with government regulation & EHS aspect.

Accountabilities

  • Conducting hydrology assessment for PIT, MHR, Disposal, Dyke and other facilities if required. 
  • Conduct & assist hydrology & hydrogeology study of mining plan to ensure mining locations and hydrology facilities meet government regulations. 
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on Hydrology issues. 
  • Develop a procedure / program for engineering design which would include recognized Hydrology & Compliance concept, methods and software. 
  • Audit the implementation of engineering design on fields, and stop any operation due to critical design / implementation when failures are found for safety reasons. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Civil / Mining Engineering 
  • Minimum 12 moths experience in related field 
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) is preferred 
  • Computer skills software such as hydrology, vulcan, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS & Global Mapper 

Geologist ERT & Geophysics 

Lead and manage the application and integration of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) geophysical applications to improve the quality of mineral resources block modeling and exploration result to support both long term corporate strategic programs and short term mine planning and production purposes and the assessment of new geophysical application methods available in mining industry to provide continuous improvement of drilling program, Mineral Resources Mineral Reserves values as well as improvement of mine planning predictability and mine operation productivity. 

Accountabilities

  • To lead and manage the application of Electric Resistivity Tomography (ERT) geophysical program to be integrated in the exploration strategy to improve exploration planning as well as to support requirement of Mine Short Term and Grade control Block Model. 
  • Ensure the quality assurance and quality control of Electric Resistivity Tomography (ERT) geophysical data acquisition, data interpretation and data validation as well as its integration in the process of block modeling and mineral resources estimation processes.
  • Liaise with infill drilling planning and strategy to prioritize the execution of the field work activities as well as the deliverable time planning to be integrated with mineral resources block modeling and estimation and its reporting.
  • To manage adequate coordination with Area infill drilling Project Managers as well as Mine Department sections (Mine Operations, Mine Plan, Mine Ore Quality Control, Mine Exploration, Mine Surveys) when performing geophysical program field work activities.
  • To manage the Environmental, Health and Safety aspect of the geophysical program field work activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Geological or Geophysical Engineering 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field 
  • Computer skills of Geophysical software such as Geoelectric, Geo Radar, Shallow Seismic

Mineral Resource Geologist 

To perform ore modelling and mineral resource estimation activities to support Company Plan and Life of Mine (LOM) to accomplish the annual Mineral Resource & Mineral Reserve (MRMR) reporting as a basis for company strategic planning and conduct the assessment to solve the issue from reconciliation or mine operation to improve the quality and accuracy of the mineplan. 

Accountabilities

  • Perform validation of all required supporting data for the mineral resources modelling process to ensure proper quality of the resulting block model and resource estimation.
  • Perform mineral resources modelling as the basis of annual MRMR reporting and mineral resources studies to support mine production planning and strategic growth program.
  • Conduct peer review to maintain the quality of the block modelling process as well as itsoutputs to avoid fatal flaws.
  • Conduct a study, improvement, and development of the mineral resource estimation process based on the audit recommendation and MRMR readiness assessment to achieve best estimation.
  • Modeling and estimating Grade Control models for mining preparation.
  • Reporting resources and exploration results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Geological Engineering 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field 
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP)

Senior Ore Quality System Geologist 

To Lead and manage Quality system and support team to ensure safety and QA / QC of sampling activities and sample preparation to produce reliable assays and moisture analysis on time and implementing effective financing. 

Accountabilities

  • Review and evaluate implementation of existing integrated environment, health, safety and risk systems within section works activities by identify the opportunities to reduce risks and maintaining compliance to safety standard and regulation.
  • Develop, maintain data models, reporting system, data automation system to ensure result of assays, moisture, QA / QC samples are valid, reliable, accurate, updated and reported on time, and stored in secured database.
  • Plan activity financing and ensure spending is according to plan.
  • Evaluate and determine the sampling procedure, manage the samples in accordance with geology area condition and mineral types and determine and / or revise the sample preparation process in the area of Mine Face, Temporary and final rompile, MRAL, I and Analysis laboratory area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Geological and Mining Engineering

Senior Ore Reconciliation Geologist 

Conduct reconciliation studies, provide technical support for small fleets and ensure quality sampling and measurement of ore exposed and mined out mapping to support mine planning, ore quality control operations and Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserve (MRMR) reporting and implementing effective financing. 

Accountabilities

  • Ensure the implementation of environment, health, safety and risk program (Safety Layer Audit, Safety Inspections, Safety Talks, Major Hazard Standards, Golden Rules) and compliances against procedures, regulations and policies to prevent any accidents.
  • Reconcile actual mined against block model estimation and drill hole data in terms of Run of Mine (ROM) tonnage and grades, ore and overburden thickness and ore gain / loss based on measured actual top and bottom ore surfaces.
  • Coordinate with company's Mine Engineering to achieve planned Nickel grade and ROM production on a weekly basis.
  • Plan activity financing and ensure spending is according to plan.
  • Provide Grade Control weekly plan map and drill hole that showing grades of Nickel, Fe, SiO2 ratio. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Geological and Mining Engineering 
  • Minimum 8 years experience in related roles

Project Engineer 

Manage and ensure that all construction and maintenance activities in all company's areas are weel coordinated, resource and outsourcing management (contractor, supplier and vendor) executed safely to meet standard Quality, Cost & Delivery on time and achieve company goal. 

Accountabilities

  • Ensure the implementation of environment, health, safety and risk program (Safety Layer Audit, Safety Inspections, Safety Talks, Major Hazard Standards, Golden Rules) and compliances against procedures, regulations and policies to prevent any accidents.
  • Ensuring that the execution requirement meet with the project needs, such as scheduling, cost control, quality control and coordination of the worker in order to eliminate wastage, re-work or delay.
  • Ensuring project costs, maintenance work and construction projects meet budget plans.
  • Make continuous improvements in construction methods to reduce construction costs and safety aspects.
  • Plan, organize, direct and manage activities related to mining project construction, facilities and supporting systems. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Civil, Mining, Mechanical, Electrical and Geological Engineering 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related roles 
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) 
  • Have good skills and knowledge in standard civil & mechanical engineering drawings and material specifications 

Junior Operational Readiness Engineer 

Plan and coordinate project management activities for operational readiness phase to execute mines development and preparation operation stage in Bahodopi project area in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule and budget, and to meet the planned project objectives are achieved and performing the safe and efficient operation of that asset in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. 

Accountabilities

  • Implementing Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring work environment conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets.
  • Prepare and identified in the contract documents, e.g. design and construction and commissioning activities, delivery of supporting documentation from design team, vendors and suppliers (and sometimes start-up and performance testing of the completed asset).
  • Contributions to the Project e.g. checking operability, maintainability, reviews and output of design, confirming modes of operation of equipment, participation in safety activity, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Coordinate general project management activities (e.g. planning, recruitment and training, manpower mobilization, cost control) to execute project phases mine operational and maintenance readiness to achieve the objective adherence to budget and planning. 
  • Prepare mobilization and training for the future operation personnel to ensure that the operation can be run immediately after the handover process, commissioning, ramp-up and handover for Bahodopi mine to supply the Joint Venture Sambalagi Plant facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering 
  • Minimum 18 months experience in related field 
  • Certified Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) is preferred 
  • Certified Professional Engineer – PII (Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia) is preferred
