DSLNG provides an opportunity to develop gas reserves that have been stranded for many decades. The DSLNG plant is located in the Banggai Regency in the Province of Central Sulawesi and is situated about 45 km south-east of Luwuk, the main town of Banggai Regency.
The plant site comprises about 100 hectares of land along the coast facing the Peling Strait, which provides a deep-sea route from Surabaya and Makassar to Luwuk and Manado.

While most of the logistics operations are handled by its subsidiaries, in 2021, AL started its own operations by serving the Adaro Group companies with fuel handling and logistics services after acquiring four fuel tanks of 4,200-kiloliter capacity to be placed at KM 0 of Kelanis port and three fuel tanks of 4,400-kiloliter total capacity located at KM 73 of Adaro Indonesia’s hauling road.
