Accounting Policy Officer

Job Description

• Periodically monitor transactions to ensure accuracy in financial recording and reporting.
• Oversee the implementation of the General Ledger (GL) in the new system to comply with company accounting standards.
• Coordinate with relevant work units to resolve transaction or record discrepancies.
• Monitor transactions during the development of the new system to ensure proper integration.
• Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) assessments on the new system to ensure the reporting module functions correctly.
• Configure journal settings in each module of the accounting system to ensure smooth transaction recording.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or a related field.
• Work experience in the banking industry, particularly in accounting and financial reporting.
• Experienced in transaction reconciliation and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
• Understanding of the AS400 system and experience in the implementation or management of technology-based accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with various work units.
