In Indonesia Mubadala Petroleum is the operator of the Ruby gas field, Sebuku Block. Our commitment is to support Indonesia economic growth and to operate to the highest safety and environmental standards. As a part of this exciting journey, we are seeking for the following positions:

Legal Counsel

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for delivering expert technical legal advice and legal support to the Indonesia Business Unit. This role reports to Legal Manager or Legal Manager’s delegate. This role works closely with the Indonesia Country Manager and senior management team to ensure legal services are provided in a timely manner and consistent with the Corporate Legal and Compliance Unit policies and procedures.
  • This role also provides support to compliance and corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) related issues in coordination with Compliance Counsel in the Corporate.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include but not limited:

  • Handling material legal matters (including potential litigation or disputes with any party), and material agreements.
  • Support the supply chain management (“SCM”) team on all contracting processes 
  • Assist on all local aspects of corporate projects including re-organizations, restructuring to optimize tax position, and M&A transactions.
  • Provide support to corporate functions.
  • Provide sound legal advice on a broad range of day to day issues including rights and obligations under production sharing contracts and joint operating agreements with partners, optimal structuring of new commercial arrangements, SKKMIGAS / MIGAS process and requirements, etc.
  • Legal Processes and Standardization of Business Terms: Ensure the corporate Legal and Compliance Unit policies and procedures are implemented in the Indonesian Business Unit; Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of legal administration systems, processes and practices; Assist to update standard terms of business and in-house precedents.
  • Assist Legal Manager in preparing Business Unit budgets in a timely and accurate manner in light of management expectations and business growth.
  • Comply and demonstrate to HSSE commitment Policy, Standards, and Procedures in any activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include but not limited:

  • Bachelor Degree of Law (S1) from highly regarded university.
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in handling Oil & Gas legal matters.
  • Solid industry and commercial experience obtained working at an international law firm and / or in-house with an international organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Oil & Gas upstream business, including Anti-Bribery code.
  • Familiar with PSC operation (conventional and gross split).
  • Comprehensive knowledge in handling commercial contract (Gas Sales, Divestment, Acquisition, JOA, etc.).
  • Good understanding of SKKMIGAS and MIGAS regulations and processes.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good understanding of contractual terms.
  • Commercial acumen. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills of verbal and written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

Junior Field Operator

  • Location: Offshore - Ruby Field, Sebuku

Role Purpose

  • Operates the plant and process equipment safely, efficiently, & effectively in compliance to Mubadala Petroleum HSSE Policy Statement, Operations Management Framework, Production Procedures, and Written Instructions, provide routine monitoring of the plant and process equipment, including taking production readings and reporting any discrepancies, perform complex troubleshooting, and work with maintenance disciplines to isolate instruments / systems as directed for maintenance activities to achieve the expected / targeted production rate.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include but not limited:

  • Hold Diploma Degree in Engineering with relevant major.
  • Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) is 3.00 out of 4.00.
  • Strong safety and environmental awareness.
  • Computer - proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Personal motivation and self-learning ability, proactive, able to work independently and in team.
  • Effective Communication both in Bahasa and English.
  • Having knowledge and skills in X-mas tree operations, Gas Compressor and Utility Systems (fuel gas, fresh water, sewage, etc.) would be advantageous.
  • Resident of Kotabaru is preferable.

Junior Technician, Instrument

  • Location: Offshore - Ruby Field, Sebuku

Role Purpose

  • Perform and conduct routine and non-routine instrumentation & system equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration  activities, both for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM), for numerous field facilities equipment (including but not limited to distributed control systems, fire and gas systems, turbine control systems, etc.) within specified timeframe and within compliance to Mubadala Petroleum HSSE Policy Statement, and Operations Management Framework; to ensure safe, reliable and effective field operations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include but not limited:

  • Hold Diploma Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) is 3.00 out of 4.00.
  • Strong safety and environmental awareness.
  • Computer - proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Personal motivation and self-learning ability, proactive, able to work independently and in team.
  • Effective Communication both in Bahasa and English.
  • Having knowledge and skills in PLC’s and Fire and Gas, Turbine and Telecom systems would be advantageous.
  • Resident of Kotabaru is preferable.
