Main Job Purpose

  • The key job role is to lead the delivery of technical insights and claims for category projects in Asia, by bringing innovation to life for consumers, creating superior product stories for our science and innovation and ensuring countries are well-supported and that their relevant needs captured within the innovation mixes. The role may also entail Project Leadership of regional and local projects for the category.

Key Challenges of the Role

  • Lead the execution of the technical claims programme for Asia’s project portfolio by co-generating claims with the project team, collaborating with local country partners for holistic claims feedback and risk assessment and ensuring robust support to land superior claims and stories in the markets.
  • Lead the delivery of relevant technical insights for the deodorant brands by leveraging consumer and market data / information and translating them into opportunities to drive competitive growth for category in the region.
  • Lead the technical delivery of assigned deo projects by overseeing all R&D workstreams and support teams, and by managing project stakeholders such as Brand and Supply Chain.

Job Summary

  • Act as the Deos central point of contact in Asia on technical insights, claims and activations for the broader Cluster Design Teams, Local Deploy Managers, Legal, Regulatory and Global R&D.
  • Act as a core member of multiple Regional Project Teams, to lead the claims development work plan, ensuring OTIF delivery throughout the innovation funnel. Working in partnership with the CTI Design team ensuring the country needs are captured within the claims testing plan especially for Global roll-outs.
  • Coordinate creation of all claims risk assessment documentation by gathering cross-functional (Legal / Regulatory / R&D) regional and country input. Ensure that all project risks are captured and highlighted within the project team. Provide recommendations on how to mitigate risk and simplify the support data required.
  • Work closely with countries to ensure all claim support is robust and reliable so that claims and assets can be deployed successfully, ensuring approval where necessary with local authorities.
  • Present claim support rationales and methodologies to countries, ensuring that the support is understood. Where appropriate, resolve conflict ensuring that R&D communicates as one voice. 
  • Employ deep understanding of the category, product technology, consumer, market and even competition to generate insights and opportunities into product innovation, claims and demos.
  • Analyse and understand the Asia market and consumers as well as future trends, seeking insights and providing input into new innovations or communications.
  • Explore new avenues, techniques for product and claims testing, support data and insight generation.
  • Ability to creatively solve issues and provide alternative claims articulation that mitigate risk.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or equivalent experiences in appropriate field Proven expertise in R&D with at least 5 – 6 years of experience.

Job Summary

  • Is responsible for manufacturing resource scheduling (material, manpower, utilities, plant capability)
  • Is responsible for driving agreed Manufacturing strategy on the shop floor
  • Assists the Production Plan & Evaluation in the preparation of weekly, cycle and regular production plans
  • Plans to meet increases in capacity indicated by long term sales forecasts

Main Job Purpose

  • Engineering and SHE Manager will be responsible for overal engineering and SHE aspect at the Factory. This will include but not limited to Maintenance of process&packing lines, Project management and execution of any projects related to capacity, innovation etc, Creating tactical and startegical for any improvements at the factory site, developing SHE improvement program, campaign and other SHE related activity.
  • This will include supporting:
  • Manages all engineering activities within a department including design, development, production and testing. Implements and maintains overall engineering objectives and initiatives.
  • Confronts and solves performance / operational issues to improve development efficiency.
  • Leads and develops the engineering team. Oversees a robust project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
  • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility and may give input into developing the budget.
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Development of aligned machinery specifications will be a key element of the role. The role holder will provide analytical support in defining optimum technology criteria.
  • They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining audit protocols for technology / supplier evaluation as well as providing effective engagement with a number of internal and sometimes external stakeholders.
  • Additional responsibility for supporting benchmarking and cost modelling based on understanding of conversion.
  • Manages all SHE related activities / program within the factory site i.e SHE campaign, behavoural safety, process Safety, reporting, etc
  • Develop a tactical and srtategical SHE development plan to improve overall SHE performance at factory site both on leading and lagging indicator aspect

Job Summary

  • Become the accountable person of any facilities within the factory site and represent SC Manufacturing on any projects
  • Maintaining the condition of every machinery equipment at the factory site in order to be able to operate at the best operating performance, developing maintenance plan, spare part management plan, project plan and as well
  • Facilitate / co-ordinate Packaging Technology support to agreed innovation projects (through diverse functional networks) facilitating the development of agreed common solutions when new machinery is required using Best Practice Tools and Processes (EPM, Qii , Project Management).
  • Generate capital estimate and detailed trial and installation program for the process packaging areas within project portfolio
  • Develop New Machinery Technology solutions in response to Strategy assessing fit / impact with current operations.
  • Develop understanding of the machine / material interfaces, ensuring optimum solutions are delivered.
  • Maintaining and improving factory SHE performance through robust SHE program planning and implementation
  • Maintain required SHE reporting

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree from Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Engineering Physics
  • Have got 3+ years of experiences in related work especially engineering / maintenance
  • Project Management Experience is an advantage
  • Creative & logical mindset with Can do spirit.
  • Mature, emotionally stable, positive mindset, able to drive team with multiple diversity, people engagement
  • Problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work collaboratively as a team , good communication skill
