Asuransi Jasindo is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) which establised based on Government Regulation No. 10 / 1973 concerning on the State Participation to establish limited company in General Insurance. The Company is a merged of 2 (two) State-Owned Enterprises, PT Umum International Underwriters and PT Asuransi Bendasraya.
Sucofindo is the first inspection institution in Indonesia and was established on October 22, 1956. The Indonesian government is the major shareholder with 95 percent ownership, while the Societe Generale de Surveillance Holding SA (SGS) holds the remaining 5 percent.
