This cooperation continues to the formation Factory Telephone and Telegraph (PTT) as part of the LPP Postel in 1968. In 1974, this part of the LPP Postel separated into a Limited Liability Company under the auspices of the Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication. The company is based on the establishment of the Indonesian Government Regulation No: 34 of 1974 dated 23 September 1974 concerning remittance of capital for the establishment of the Republic of Indonesia (Persero) in the Telecommunications Industry and the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No.: Kep-1771/MK / IV/12/1974 dated December 28, 1974 on the Establishment of the Company's capital.
PT INTI (Persero) established steps to enter the business of engineering solutions, system integrators and development of genuine products. Some products featured genuine PT INTI, among others: Smart PBX, General Purpose Agent (INTI Power Utilities Monitoring & Control, Flood Forecasting and Warning System) Iperisalah and KWH Meter. Product development for other INTI genuine products continues, as Conversion Kit for Fuel to Gas, Smart meters for gas and water, USSD-based EDC with Telkomsel, Electronic ID card reader, cooperation for development and production of the transport system with PT KAI with product warranty (Abuse prevention Signal). As a systems integrator, PT INTI (Persero) focusing on market segments TELCO, CELCO and Private Enterprise. For TELCO market, PT INTI (Persero) initiated the idea Modernization copper access network owned by PT Telkom, Tbk., become fiber optic access network by technology of MSAN, GPON and FTTH (Fiber To The Home) with patterns Trade In Trade Off or More known as TITO project. Through this project TITO has access network modernization over 400 thousand connections at 8 STO at the end of 2012. And through this project PT INTI re-build capabilities in the telecommunications industry, among others: Fiber Termination Management (FTM), Optical Splitter, Fiber Optic Accesoris, Optical Network Termination (ONT), Dropp Optical Cable, Fiber Management System (FMS).
In CELCO sector, PT INTI initiated Rural BTS project for PT Indosat, build OSP (outside plant) fiber optic backbone for the BTS to PT. Telkomsel and PT. XL Axiata, as well as providing an antenna for the cellular operator. For Private and Enterprise market segments, PT. INTI provides solar solutions (Solar Power) for PT. PLN, providing IT service management tools PT. Telkom with a management seat pattern around 35,000 management seats (including computers, laptops, printers and projectors) from starting the installation, application management, and dismantle. In addition, PT. INTI has a solution call Smart Clinic which intended for managing of health services such as hospitals and polyclinics.
